Excellent videography that captured these two wonderful locos at full throttle. From Australia, while I've visited UK a few times including twice recently, have still not travelled behind these two. I rarely visit during your summer so that's part of the difficulty. It was a bonus to observe them without assisting diesels coupled. I wish all rail tours could operate with the diesel following close behind, but it increases costs with an additional track access fee and on busier routes it may be challenging to allocate a second train path.
Many thanks. It was great to see these two Castles on home turf. Unfortunately most steam tours have a diesel on the back these days. Credit to VT for organising this tour with shadowing diesels.
Nice to see the updated view over the hedge on Hemerdon, looks very tidy.
The two Castle's looked very good also 😃🚂🚂🚃🚃🚃😄
Visibility of the line between the hedges gets .ess every year!
Super video :)
Thank you very much!
Great video as usual Keith, well done.
Thanks, Shirl. Nice to see some proper engines down our way again!
nice viewpoint, great to see the train without a diesel on the rear.
Thanks. Not many without a rear gunner these days. Well done to VT.
Keith, Nicely captured. Regards, John
Thanks, John. A memorable sight, thanks to Vintage Trains. Keith.
