I love the Stoeger M3000 but I also never touched 3-gun or any competitive shooting. I only have about 500 rounds through mine but its been problem free. A tube dump every once in a while just feels right through that gun.
Fun fact: Beretta owns BOTH Benelli AND Stoeger. And since the stoegers operate off of the same inertia system as the benelli, you basically ARE getting a great-value Benelli.
Fun fact, Stoeger makes such a good copy of benelli's inertial drive system that Benelli ended up buying stoeger. They now have stoeger make all of their inertial drive guns. So if you have a inertial driven Benelli, it is really a Stoeger rebranded.
I have a jm pro series "tactical claaaaass". Mine runs everything but there was a guy in our class that had the slightly longer barrel and mag tube that was having a ton of issues all day. I got lucky so I'm keeping mine. No practical reason. Just love shooting shotguns really fast and use it for sporting clays and trap to get wierd looks. TGC sent me.
I've been playing around with the idea of doing 3-gun just for fun. Seems like I might enjoy it, but I'd literally just be doing it for fun and improve as a shooter, but this video does make it sounds a little dumb in some ways. On the plus side I do pretty much have everything except a semi-auto shotgun and would likely go with a Stoeger M3k Freedom for that.
I dont own a Stoeger yet, but I understand they recommend a 50 rd break in with heavy loads. I think the extractor needs replaced with the...exact same part.. from Beretta?
Thank you for pointing out that the shotgun part of 3 gun is idiotic. As a lifelong hunter I have always thought, "Why are these dudes shooting stationary targets with a super tactical 12 gauge at 10 yards and pretending it is challenging?" I shoot at mourning doves that are flying 40 miles an hour. That is sport.
Lol! Great video. I love 3 gun and love the reasons why you hate it! I went w an old school used Remington 1200 and added an extension tube. Think I paid around $250 for it. I do it for fun, the race ready stuff is nice but I’m still having fun w my classics.
LOL! I did this shotgun thing just like you said! I jumped up out of bed, in my boxer shorts grab the shotgun and tried to put on the bandolier that hangs over your shoulder and down across my chest! It was cold, it rubbed on my nipple and made it hurt and I turned around with back in the house and put a coat on first and then put the damn Bandelier on! Luckily for me it was with nothing but it was just like you said!
Dude, freaking hilarious! Shooting at Spider-Man. Drone?!?!! Hell yeah boys; drop the drone bitches!! Game Wardens punches you in the dingus! Subscribed. Boom digity.
I think 3 gun looks like it could be a lot of fun with the right group of friends/vibe (like anything else) but aside from the benefit of just target practice with your guns, well aside from the static nature of them "3 guns" is more a video game logic deal. I was in the army (I did not do anything cool, at least not violent cool just regular goofball shit) and they gave me one gun. They pretty much give everyone one gun. And the have money, they can give you more guns. But they don't. You gotta' figure someone working for the Army knows about "more than one gun". But they still, mostly, go with "one gun".
I have to respectfully disagree. If you believe that shotguns never had a use in trenches, or either world war, then 2 gun is your game, not 3 gun. But if you would ever grab an 8 round shotgun to dispatch intruders with extreme prejudice, then running #7 shot instead of 00 buck on knock down steel and spinners is called "training."
3 Gun is a Sport aka Game . Nothing wrong with that , and any venue that involves fast and accurate shooting will have skill sets at least partially of interest to real world usage . But as evolved , 3 Gun at upper levels is practiced by Gamey Gamers , being extra Gamey , chasing margins of 0.001's of a second . Nothing wrong with that , something for everyone's tastes , etc , and fast and accurate shooting with an element of athletics , why not ? But dude , you knew going in what it was , and what you let yourself in for . Were you really surprised ?
It’s crazy how many different companies are under one umbrella now. The first Stoeger inertia guns (M2000) were being produced before the acquisition. Sako bought Stoeger in the 90s, and in the late 90s early 2000s I believe Versan was manufacturing those actions for them (I’m not sure if they were licensed from Benelli or not). Then Sako sold Stoeger to Beretta, and Beretta put them under Benelli.
Compared to sporting clays and all forms of off hand silhouette, 3 gun is pretty boring. Sporting clays and trap can be expensive....On the other hand, off hand Silhouette is cheap and arguably the most challenging. 22lr and highpower
Silhouette is for sure a good one. I've been playing with some self healing silhouettes and my cz 455 lately, and it's fun. Also, not sure why they gave the Ram junk....
@@TheTinnitusShow oh man its weird haha. There is a guy at our 22lr gatherings that almost never fails to hit the ram in the junk by accident. That hit Almost never knocks it down though haha. Sher there is a joke in there somewhere Love my 455 varmint. VERY consistent only using lead bullets and cleaned every 200rds. Mostly use it for hunting. Always score better in Silhouette with a lighter 6lb 10/22 carbine with 1.5-5x leupold as appose to 9lb CZ with 4-16x zeiss. Moderate success with the 455 in 22lr benchrest using eley match and sk red box. Its very much outclassed in the heavy bolt gun class though.
I could for sure be better, but if I’m going to the range with a shotgun it’s generally for sporting clays. Which is a hell of a lot more difficult than shooting claybird off a stick at 10 yards
@@TheTinnitusShow shoot sporting clays starting with an empty shotgun . That's what I do for practice sometimes . You also forgot the Texas star , and swingers .

Loved the shotgun rant, but its 2024 now and blowing drones out of the sky with a shotgun is a VERY RELEVANT TACTICAL SKILL!
"Fuk'n wheel chair for your disabled pigeon. "... shit made me almost spit out my coffee. 🤣💀
It only took a global pandemic for you to make a new video. I eagerly await the next one following the global thermonuclear war of 2038.
I'll either be bald from natural causes or radiation poisoning

People are scared of an AR15 but this gun is capable of FAR more damage.
Eh an ar has range.

The ending music kinda slaps but idk if that’s bc I haven’t heard anything new but this channel is new to me and it’s great so keep it up man.
