Drone Australia Gliding

Rodd Point is found on the western side of the Sydney Habour Bridge in a side branch of the Paramatta River. This flight commences at Rodd Point and rises above the iconic Leichardt Oval as we look into the golden sunrise of a mid-summer day.

Scene #02: Cremorne Point
In the city's history this was once a less sought after area in which to live, but this has changed considerably over the last century. Found on the northern side of the harbour the suburb has spectacular view of the global icons of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge as well as the ever changing CBD skyline.
In this scene we glide through a gentle circumference of the point to view the weathered sandstone shore.

Scene #03: Bennelong Point
Of course a visit to Sydney must include Bennelong Point where the iconic Sydney Opera House stands. This scene is a loop just after dawn from the eastern side around to the western side. We see the normally pure white sails bathed in golden sunlight and then the sails of the building in silhouette once reaching the western side of the building.

Scene #04: Hyde Park and Archibald Fountain
The 16 hectares of open space in the heart of central Sydney is Australia's oldest park - Hyde Park. This lovely tree lined area is a popular lunch point for the city's workers and it also features a fountain by French sculptor Francois Sicard, which commemorates the association between Australia and France in World War 1.

Scene #05: Ferry On Sydney Harbour
Another icon associated with Sydney is the ferry's that move commuters around the city. In this sequence we take a look a close up look at a boat from the First Fleet class - the backbone of the nine different classes that work in the city.

Scene #06: Sunset On Sydney Harbour
A sunset combined with the beauty of Sydney Harbour is how this episode of Gliding is closed out. Here we look west and enjoy our star as it sets on a cloudless day.
