@@jessicaemichaels I was thinking about your babies and having to leave them. When my kids were little and I would leave them for a little trip I think I was a better mom after coming back because I took time for me so I could give more to them!!

You will have plenty to work on! I remember the days of packing the back of the van and heading to retreats. Nowadays it’s day crops, but hoping to get to a few more retreats in the future.

What fun!! It’s prolly your first retreat in a while! You make a really good point about those rolling totes being so heavy! I know when I went to the scrapbook expo last month, my back was screaming after lifting mine and my friend’s in and out of the back of my SUV. Maybe I’ll try more smaller bags next time too. I remember one retreat I went to I used a bunch of thirty one bags and someone thought I was a consultant. I said no, I’m not a really good customer!! 😅
I would love to see how you set all of this up at your retreat. I’ve seen some people even bring their IKEA carts.
I honestly thought about bringing my IKEA cart! This is my first time at this one though so I better leave it at home haha. Those rolling totes ARE so heavy!!!! I absolutely love them and they’re great but I had to unload mine just to get it in and out of the car so to me, that wasn’t worth it lol. I’d much rather make a gazillion trips in and back out with my smaller bags. I’m a really good Thirty One customer too as you can see! Hahaha. I love their stuff. Those canvas bags hold up so well!
I’ll have to do a video or at least snap some pics for IG once I get set up! ❤️❤️❤️ It has been so long since I’ve gone to an overnight/weekend crop. Actually, I think the last one I went to was when Oliver(first born) was about 9 months old and I took him with me!!! We rented an entire scrapbook house so it was easy for him to come along there. I’m looking forward to this weekend but I’m missing my babies already!

On another note, a lot of scrappers are using those collapsible wagons to haul everything between car and table.
Holy cow! How long is the crop? I wouldn't get to even get to do half of that stuff if I was gone for a month! I'm exhausted just watching you, lol. When my friends and I go to crop we coordinate our supplies. One person brings the punches, one brings the heat tool, one brings a scoreboard, etc. None of use those same tools at the same time so we don't all need to bring the same stuff.
lol it was a 3 day crop and honestly, I did touch or use almost everything I took. My friends and I did coordinate what we took. One of us brought the cricut, I brought the Minc and Big Shot… etc. I got more done than I thought I would honestly! I surprised myself! 😂
Thank you very much for this video. I'm off for a crop this weekend too and thought I had packed everything but seeing this there were some items I had forgotten so I stored them right away. Anxious to see what you come up with. You have lots and lots of plans how many layouts are you gonna make? I have pagekits for 15 layouts hope I will complete them they all are based upon the sketches from 30 days of sketches series 14. Have so much fun on your weekend enjoy it.
Oh yayyyy! I love 30 days of sketches, such great inspiration! That should make for some quick layouts for you! I’m not setting my bar super high lol. I haven’t been to a crop in forever and I’m sure I’ll be talking more than working so if I get 5 done I’ll be amazed. 🤣🤣🤣

Hey we gotta have options, right? Like what if I get there and I’m not in the mood to work on beach photos so I brought many others! 🤣 I absolutely love my storage shelves for the iris containers. I got them from Michaels(online). But don’t pay full price because they always go on sale! Do you come home and put it all away immediately? That’s my problem. I just let it sit and dread putting it all away.
Mine sat for I think a week before I got back to my room again but I packed basically how my room is arranged so it was just a matter of putting my bins back where they belong. It wasn’t too bad! I’m still working from my planned page kits as well.
