I used to ride those roads at over 160kph every day for years in shorts and flip flops. How I never died I will never know. I lost count on how many dogs walked out in front of me, never hit a single 1, even when they decided to just stop and look at me when I'm totally sideways and smoke pouring off the back tyre. Best days of my life!!
I did what you did last month! 160kph hell no 😂 but I've hit 100kph, which was too fast without goggles, The roads now are way better but there is sand here and there and that sand acts like ice, if you ride fast over sand kiss your ass goodbye👀
I should have seen your video before taking my rented bike to Haad Run from Thang Sala. God's grace nothing happened, but I will strongly advise everyone to spend 100/- on shared taxi to Haad Rin. It's devil's road indeed
