I was thinking that maybe the videos lowkey are hints to their professional lives? Like they were all kind of 'lost' before fame (if you see their survival show you'll notice that some of them have been trainees for quite some time, I.M had trouble fitting in and Wonho's mom was struggling financially etc), but now they've joined the clan (Monsta X) despite of the hardships (there are also hints for this, Jooheon is shown here being the leader almost, and in their survival show he was always nº1 in the missions and the first to be chosen for the group) and need eachother (end of the mvs with the heart thing), but also the fans' love and support? Man now I really wanna make a theory video for this haha

what if the two gummy bears are related to an option related to the clan? 'Cause everything related to the delphinium flower is blue, maybe in this case blue is related to reality, or maybe it relates to follow the clan, its goals, or choosing the clan in some way Idk, maybe it is related to the false reality 'cause they don't want to front the pact they have done, but how can they help to defeat a false reality when they don't believe in it? If the clan was made to rebel against a false reality they should know what is the true reality, or they aren't with the clan anymore even after making the deal and bringing Hyungwon back? or maybe they are following but without knowing why just 'cause they aren't strong enough to front reality so they choose to follow blindly. Jooheon's facial expression confuses me and it matches with your theory about blue being false reality, but even like that I don't understand, I think maybe the blue one in monsta X's case is the one related with whatever the chan wants, because delphinium liquid is blue, that's what I think, even so I love your theories, your the best, thanks for this theory and sorry if I misspelled something or i coudn't bring myself to express what a wanted to say, english is not that easy hehe.

Nope! He's in but the creator cut his scene out for some reason. If you watch the making of Fighter you'll see them shooting scene where I.M is running and throwing sand in the blue sky montage.
Great análisis on the matrix parallels. I'd just like to add that The Matrix is not the only film reference in the mv. Some people already noted the font and other parallels with Stranger Things, and I think Monsta x themselves said that some parts of the mv were inspired from Rocky. But also, the scene where they are running in a white room is clearly inspired by the ending scene of Mommy (which is also ambiented in some kind of mental asylum like here) I think that there are a lot of things in that movie especially that could help understand this mv better.
I have the feeling that this mv was inspired by Stranger Things because of the title, the bike and the light with the computer

When I.M plays the game, you see a bear land on a flower and growing (getting stronger?). You then see him riding his bicycle, maybe to let Jooheon know that Minhyuk and Hyungwon can be saved using the flower. Jooheon does this by disguising as a doctor and giving them gummy bears laced with the flower to MinHyung! The flower has healing qualities and so both are saved and the running scene near the ending of fighter is them escaping and attaining freedom? Idk just a thought.. There's so many layers to this that its hard to keep up!

I feel like I mainly agree with most of this except the part about Hyungwon and Minkyun. If you notice, the boys (Shownu, Kihyun, I.M, and Wonho) are all gathered to play that game, which Wonho had to build to get to the boys. And none of them are seen with H & M. Only Jooheon. My theory for that part is that they were trapped, possibly because they weren't fully committed to the clan. So Jooheon has them in a different world (if you look at when the boys are running down the hall the sky is pink and blue. Fantasy like), and the other boys are attempting to rescue them. Also if you notice when they're running, they a make it out of frame, presumably out the door, all except for Hyungwon. He may still be stuck because he took the blue gummy bear

I like how the option given by leader Jooheon were gummy bears when they could have easily been pills like the matrix. I think it signifies the security of the clan like I.M's teddy bears and the security guards with the bear heads. Sort of sending a message that you'll be safe if you take the option of truth but we'll be safe whether you take it or not sort of thing...I hope that makes sense
