I hear if you hit those hard enough with a pool noodle they run just as well as current gen. Didn't quite work with my G2, but I intend to keep trying! 🙂Keep 'em coming, looking forward to the next video!
Nice tip. Problem is the pool noodle is in the garage, I'm upstairs, so much easier to move the computers around. That, and if the pool noodle was left unsupervised inside the lazy cat would tear it up. He likes doing things like that, and we have historical evidence too.
Well you gave it an honest shot with running linux as a daily and I have to applaud you for that. Honestly having been running linux as a daily for almost 2 and a half years now It has been challenging but also rewarding it it's own way.
Thanks. It is very much a different experience than 20 years ago for sure, more to positive. I can still recommend it to others, and will probably try it out again sometime.
I tried it many years ago and haven't gone back. Mainline Linux distros have spoiled me, I don't have to hunt down drivers (normally) or worry about incompatible file systems.

@@ntgm20 😂That sounds about right for a cat, mine is the same way. I have to keep anything shred-able out of reaching (or clawing) distance.

Guess that means NetBSD is next, right?
