We have a 19 month old mini. He has loved to play fetch…from the time he came to us!! He wil fetch anything ..& if we are busy, he will find a toy and play ball himself. We are working on catching mid-air and he’s so good!! His favorite places to rest are the walk-in shower and tile floors.

That is a great idea for aluminum foil…our first dog (20 plus years ago…he did not get early stimulations like you guys do) was scared of aluminum foil when we got it out the first time… It could simulate ice also as it is slippery a little. Ours is an Aussiedoodle/Labradoodle mix and is almost 16 months old and loves to play fetch. We do it with two balls…I throw one and she goes to get it and brings it back. She has to drop that one before I throw the other one for her. Sometimes she ends up with both of the balls and can’t make up her mind which one she wants. She will put one down and pick up the other and then switch.

first, make sure your dogs are all health tested. Are you breeding for money or for the good of the breed? Are you breeding an actual breed or a cross? There's a lot more to breeding than throwing two dogs together, even if one is a poodle and you can give the puppies a cute name like "doodle."

    • @JaydenAnimationsShorts

@@JaydenAnimationsShorts why would you breed a dog that you didn't know would pass the hips, elbows, hearts and eyes test? Wouldn't you want to know you aren't passing on any genetic issues to puppies? Yes, it's expensive. so are vet bills for dogs with hip dysplasia, heart problemes, etc. Do you want to sell puppies with those problems? Or are you in it just for the money?

Some people feel it’s too risky to adopt from shelters. I think about why the dogs are there to begin with when I considered purchasing from shelters. Yes, it’s a purchase. What if the dog had issues not known to the shelter and then what happens when the dog turns out to be unruly, aggressive or downright dangerous. You are then left with this poor dog to deal with like rehoming.
Just my protective opinions for responsible breeders who are supporting their own families, economy and so on. Have a good day and open your mind to other angles and perspectives to this occupation.

@@nickidrew5113 I am going to advocate as much as I want. Breeders are exploiting animals (which should be illegal) for profit. @@al3xandreaa Agreed. They exploit these animals by over breeding them many times in unsafe conditions and keep the females pregnant time after time to sell the dogs (and cats) at a profit for their own gain. Animal abuse. Just like pet stores who sell animals. I believe they banned selling animals in pet stores in California recently unless the animal came from a shelter. It helps the shelter, helps the pets get adopted etc. It is the ethical thing to do. I hope other states follow suit.
