Same as Chris... I tried to make the Penguin one, but I couldn't get the letters to cut cleanly. :( I ended up using the main background of the Snowman because it actually cut reasonably.

I love these!!! I am doing the 3D SNOW GLOBE CARD RED TRUCK, however, it looks like the numbering is off. I discovered(too late) that the truck should be "2" instead of "4" and what is currently "2" should be "4", based on the Silhouette image. Even though I discovered this late the card is still very cute, I will be making more of these for the family! THANK YOU!

What is the finished size of these cards? I bought one and want to adjust it to fit the envelopes i have, but i want to make sure that i keep it proportional.
I purchased several days ago from the Silhouette store, and it is the previous version. I went to the store today and re-downloaded but it is still the same previous version with the base wrap in one with the center slots. Should I be able to get the updated version?
Silhouette should have them updated later today (I just confirmed that with them). Once they do that, you can re-download them from your account. Please let me know if you need any further help.

However, I found for the the snowman version that I purchased that the new version is only in the studio3 format, even though I paid the extra to also include the SVG version. The SVG file that was included in the download was for the old version. So the download had the old version in SVG and the new version in studio format.

No, this would work with all liquid glue, too. I just prepped it with the double sided tape for the video. Liquid on smaller pieces (with the fine tip glue bottle) works really well.
@@kayceen5073 Thank you for your reply. I think one of your videos, maybe for the pop-up cube card with the rubber band, said that some places that get more tension benefit from self-adhesive strips over glue, so I'm always curious when I see different methods used for no apparent reason.

Mom Peas, The silhouette file is in the process of being replaced. You may need to wait an hour or 2 for the updated file show up in the system. It sounds like it's not quite there yet. It's substantially different than the old file.

Hi! I just bought the Valentines Kissing booth version with the gnomes. I'm new to the 3-d projects, and have a question. Is the 'Happy Valentines Day' and 'Kissing booth' sign part a print and cut? should I print those first and have registration marks on? im confused. Thanks for any help!
That is correct. The signs are both print and cut pieces. With Cricut you need to FLATTEN those pieces and with Silhoeutte you'll need to turn on the registration marks and then print/cut.

In the Santa Claus design as well as penguin design I purchased, the white cutouts with numbers, the numbers are in red, which means they will be cut on cameo, yet yours are in black. These are not the instructions for the card I purchased -HEXAGON POP UP CARD GNOME. completely had to figure out the inserts myself because they are installed differently... and what's with all the space under Gnome? Couldn't you have done presents or something there? Disappointed.
To be honest I can’t even make the card file I purchased from you because I don’t understand how to set up the parts, what is print and cut and what is not. I’ve wasted so much materials and am so frustrated I have just given up. The files you have provided may work for a season silhouette user but for a beginner, I just am turned off of the whole process. You give absolutely NO written instructions and this video doesn’t even apply to the card file I purchased yet this is where the link in the instructions sent me…
Hi Meredith. This is most certainly an advanced project for a seasoned cutting machine user and paper crafter. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough time. Please let me know if I can help you in any other way. I do recommend making a really simple card to get started with your machine and then you'll feel more confident with more advanced projects.

Can we still use the old base with the new file inserts? In my own opinion, I think the original bases are much sturdier.
You sure can. But, I love that the new base has a full support through the middle. It just folds neater and flatter in both directions.

You do want the numbers to cut out. Mine are just cut through the white paper. That is what you want.

Thanks for the video Lori! I was able to get the 36 cards assembled that I had already cut out. As you know, the devil is in the detail, and the video helped a lot! My husband buys me cards like this at the store and I have always wanted to replicate them. Thanks again!

Debbie, it's a FREE update for all customers who have previously purchased it. You can re-download it from my shop right now or you can wait until this afternoon to re-download it from Silhouette.
What type of cardstock are you using for these cut out's?
I recommend using 80#-100# cardstock for the card base and inserts. The decorative paper can be anything.

These are not the instructions for the card I purchased -HEXAGON POP UP CARD GNOME. completely had to figure out the inserts myself because they are installed differently... and what's with all the space under Gnome? Couldn't you have done presents or something there? Disappointed.
To be honest I can’t even make the card file I purchased from you because I don’t understand how to set up the parts, what is print and cut and what is not. I’ve wasted so much materials and am so frustrated I have just given up. The files you have provided may work for a season silhouette user but for a beginner, I just am turned off of the whole process. You give absolutely NO written instructions and this video doesn’t even apply to the card file I purchased yet this is where the link in the instructions sent me…
Hi Meredith. This is most certainly an advanced project for a seasoned cutting machine user and paper crafter. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough time. Here's a video for Silhouette users on how to set this style of card up for cutting: ua-cam.com/video/fNrs4iSAlU0/v-deo.html. I also have one for Cricut users. Please let me know if I can help you in any other way. I do recommend making a really simple card to get started with your machine and then you'll feel more confident with more advanced projects.
