The first and Only Lely Welger Tornado in Iceland

The first Lely Welger 445 Tornado RPC in Iceland 2011.
It is also the only one yet !
There we were baling on around 12-14 km/h with about 40+ bales an hour.
The Diameter of the bales was 145 cm
The tractor pulling is a John Deere 7530 Autopower

Hello, We had 25 cutting knives in this baler, it also has an 800mm diameter rotor so this baby can eat !

Hello, No actually the Tornado 445 RPC can only make bales up to 1.60m ! but yes, the bigger the better ! much savings in plastic !

Here in Iceland where the majority of the fields are small we can get around 30 - 40 bales per hour(165 diameter). Lely claims they can get 60 - 70 bales per hour(don´t know the diameter) in perfect conditions. Wether that´s true or not, I don´t know.
