Sarah really can sing high notes even before. Remember during and after Star for a night, she's always singing songs w/ high notes. However because of this, she almost lost her voice and got problem w/ her vocal cords or throat. So she's just recovering from this and from time to time she's belting.

Regine BLEW me away with her Belting! High Powerful Belting and I left telling myself " Regine really is on a different league when it comes to Belting". I love Sarah more but Regine really has more piercing and powerful belts.
Sarah on the other hand, just like you and other audiences, SURPRISED me! Rather than being inconsistent, I'd say she is Versatile and Unpredictable, always trying to give her audience something different. She served us different styles that night. @@saltouciomesias3983 Exactly! Ovela is more on the technicality side. He's more on the belting side. Maybe because he is a sound engineer, that's why. However, singing is not just about belting. Try to watch other reactors who are coaches and singers too. You'll get more ideas how the song was delivered, what went good and what could have been done better.
That is why she is still on top of the league..that inconsistent you are always telling that makes her fans or audience crave for her performance more because they know that sarah has something instore to offer. ❤️

I able to watch Sarah's championship which she sung Celine Dion "To Love You More". Sarah was originally a powerful belter. But Abs Cbn wanted her to have her own title and push her to be a pop royalty not a belter since they want to change and influence Filipino not to only adore belting. That's where Sarah pop princess born. But she really was a belter from the start.

Agree. If they can watch Sarah's performances after she won the competition(way back 2014), she is really a powerful belter. ABS- CBN always challenges artist with pure talent, that is why she has to indulge different genres.

Sarah learned to manage her voice through time. She almost lost her voice before. That was the reason she restrains her voice when performing belting songs. She limited her performances when she's singing with belting vocals. Through time, her voice became healthier and thicker. But she rarely uses it and brings it usually on concerts.
Regine, has always been supportive of her and she encourages her and always lifts her up during performances.
That's why all of us love them both!! ❤

We watched it live. I am Sarah's fan since 2003 and damn everybodys sooo emotional to hear Sarah belted again. Regine is Queen as always. Regine was never about overpowering the other, and this concert was just about her being able to "FINALLY" do a concert with her daughter. When Sarah was starting i was also a teen like her. Her songs were some of the hardest to sing. You can sing the low part but not the high ones without feeling off key. She started a belter but eventually found her genre which is pop. She just doesn't sing well only but dances like a pro too.. Had a chance to watch her mini concert/show in 2010 and i was really stunned of how good she is. She will give you a show that will surpass your expectations

I am smiling the whole video, Ive been watching Sarah since the first day she won the contest hosted by Regine. She's getting better and better, less the belting but she knows when to use it. The young Sarah can really belt and go higher with her voice.

Sarah G’s voice changed during the “Ikot Ikot” era. I’m not sure if this was also the same time when she went to the US for voice/dance training? Her voice sounded healthier and she started to pick songs that are more within her range. Her original songs are where her voice really shines. Untouchable.
She did not go for US voice training. the dance training was long ago.
she go to USA to train. Her performance of SUPER BASS in ASAP was her comeback

Not convinced about his sincerity. I still remember when he accuse Sarah of lip syncing during ASEAN Music Festival due to the long note on her Tala. Also his comment about Filipinos putting Sarah in a high pedestal coz she doesn’t deserve it and he also question why Sarah got a longer spot during Miss Reg 3.0 Concert. These were some of the reason why I unsubscribe to this channel.

I think Sarah's career path was well planned. Even when she Focused on pop and other genres, that was all planned.
Sarah started by winning the first singing contest on live TV after a long time. Belting was the thing during those time because Regine (locally) was still at her peak during those time. But I think the management was not only looking for a plain singer with just good vocals. They were looking for a complete package - Has voice, stage presence and Charisma - they were looking for a future star, somebody who will succeed Regine as the same management was managing Regine during those times.
Then more singing contests followed and more young belters were discovered. At the same time Sarah's vocal chords were starting to mature and give way due to being over worked. And I'm sure the management knew all along Sarah's potential as a performer because prior to that singing contest, Sarah was a cast of two youth oriented show in the Philippines which focuses on developing young talents ( Ang TV and Penpen de Sarapen). And hence, they developed Sarah to become an all around pop artist. I think this was done to preserve Sarah's voice for her adult years and take advantage of her age and other talents. She is at her 20s at that time. Why not do something else, why not do Pop? Sarah can dance and sing pop and other genres. It's hitting 2 birds with one stone.
Now that she's in her early 30s, just got married, and ageing, Sarah will surely not dance that much anymore. She will more likely transition to a more Diva, regal and sophisticated Style just like those who came before her. She will not dance ala Beyonce forever. Who knows for when she bear a child and gave birth, will she have the same energy and time to rehearse complicated choreographies.
So it's all planned,
Teenage Sarah - Belting to establish her name as a success of Regine.
20s - 30s Sarah - Popstar era where she is at the peak of her fitness to not just sing but also dance and move a lot. Also, this was the time to make her own name and leave the Shadow of Regine the prime Belter.
30 onwards - Diva and Maturity era. - will slowly focus more on singing. She will still do some choreography but it will be lesser and lesser.

She is not inconsistent. Given that SG is busy all the time for she is a SUPERSTAR with a lot of commitments is totally understandable. She is not just singer in Ph you guys know that. She's an actress, A beast performer,Grand ambassador of products, Endorser, Coach, Host, music producer and a lot more. She just need to have extra time to take a rest to give y'all what u are looking for. Unlike for those some singers who doesn't have that much of work and commitment. They have EXTRA time to take a rest. So labelling Sarah as INCONSISTENT is offensive for we know that SHE's NOT!
