Yet another fantastic video. 2023 has really been the year, where you elevated yourself one step above others regarding the quality of the content ! Cheers from Sweden, happy 2024 and all that !
That was so calming and meditative. I miss my morning routines. It always got me started on the right foot. Waiting for my replacement Bianca V3 to ship so I can get back to it. Thx for the vid 🙏🏾
The music was mesmerizing, as was the muted colors and slow panning and placement of shots. Quite artistic, and very effective video. My own routine with the GS3 is close to the opposite, as I am continually trying to reduce the time it takes to produce a round of shots in the morning (or when we get up - not always morning anymore). You've got relaxing and beatific, I've mastered the frenetic version. That said, it would be interesting to know how long it actually took you to 'storyboard,' shoot and edit that video. Couple of days? Well done. And after having been put into hypnotic sleep watching that video, I've got to extract another round or two of espressos to wake up again - my machine beckons ...
Thanks so much for the kind and thoughtful comment my friend! And yeah sometimes it’s much more frantic, but with a video like this I really like to create a whole mood. In terms of planning, filming and editing. I use one camera, and I often get one shot at a time upload it to my software and build the video shot to shot to ensure a smooth flow and seamless feel. Shooting the video often takes a full 5-6 hour day. The video is also mostly edited by that point. Then to adjust the levels of audio and music and finishing touches it takes another couple of hours. So all in all about an 8-10 hour total.
It is a very solid workflow machine. And compared to the Decent it really does feel super solid. But it definitely, at least in its current state, not as capable as the Decent in full customization. And happy holidays to you as well!
Thank you for responding and sharing insight about the workflow. For me, Decent is, from a software standpoint, more complex than I want. I do like the machine overall, and have made the workflow as simple as possible, but if I could get a cleaner interface with most of the functionality in a more premium hardware design, I'd be interested. I'm just waiting for some more reviews and early adopter experiences to be shared before moving forward. I'm also interested to know what maintenance/warranty service would be like. I'm hoping that since it's a machine from a professional brand, it might be possible to be able to get service from a local company, similar to La Marzocco. Thank you again.
The only challenge for me, is that it was announced that although Bengle will have a more premium hardware design, the software will be the same as that of the DE1. While the Decent has been a good machine for me, I would much rather have a cleaner and simpler software interface. No criticism of Decent here. I'm just to change my experience a bit.
Your videos have been superb - very high quality, very zen. I really like the solid build of the ES1 - pity it has priced itself out of the market (IMO).
Thank you, Always great videos, but I would have to take a computer class at the Jethro Bodine institute just to figure how to turn that over educated machine on much less make a shot. Merry Christmas!!
A machine for gadget men. I am Also a coffee and espresso lover but i try to stick to the analogue as much as possible, though a shot timer and scale are indeed indispensable.
Broooo what’s the rating on this video!?!?!? The opening scene was steamier than my Gaggia! 🤣🤣🤣 you couldn’t have shown that on the hallmark channel! For real tho I love all your content and this video just got me thinking. Everyone posts their workflow videos but does anyone have a dos and don’ts video? I didn’t work in a cafe so all my espresso knowledge is gleaned from the internet’s. Which if I’m being honest, so far it’s basically just purge the steam wand and now spritz the beans. There has to be a lot of people like me who are “fake baristas” for lack of a better term.
I've considered buying another scale to leave on my machine. I almost dropped my lunar on the tile floor again today while moving out back to where I dose my beans.
Every thing at es.1 is wonderful except the design when you compare it to competitors (slyer , speedster ) I’m big fan of synesso but they should improve all machines design
Yet another fantastic video.

Thank you for all the videos this year. Loved the coffee's name in this one. Season's Greeting and all Best Wishes for 2024 !
You’re welcome and thanks for watching and all of the comments this year! Happy holidays and 2024!
A very therapeutic watch, Spro! Excellent video skills!
The lighting is really nice and so does the calm and relaxed vibes.
Love the small "pause" at the end while you stand next to the window! :)
Thank you and happy holidays my friend.
You’re welcome! And same to you my friend! Cheers!

Your cinematography is really wonderful ❤
@therealsprometheus this was such a perfectly aesthetic video. I wouldn't turn down more of this type. Thanks and cheers.
Happy Holidays Spro! Incredible video as usual
Happy Holidays to you as well! And thank you for the kind words and watching. Cheers!

@@Sprometheus That's efficient!
Man, that ES.1 seems really nice and easy to use. Thinking of upgrading to it from the DE1 Pro. Thank you for another fantastic video. Happy holidays.

Decent is coming out with a new, more premium machine this year called the Bengle. I wonder how it would compare.

@@macmutant fair enough. This machine looks great too!
Haha cool Tshirt 👍
Happy Holidays Spro! I think GS3 suits you better 😊
Thank you, and same to you! And on the machine, yeah I feel that. The ES.1 is headed to its next destination and the GS3 is back in the saddle.
great cinematography
These videos make me want a fancy machine.
And a supply of fancy coffee beans
And a fancy grinder
Etc.
I hope you drank that first espresso shot , it looked fine to me 🙂
Oh yeah I drank it. It’s rare for me to sink a shot these days.
Very relaxing, thanks for the video
Just beautiful!

Password could have been: 9000
Haha well that’s the stock password and it’s a loaner so I didn’t bother changing it
No no! The password needs to be 9001 so it’s OVER 9000!
Now I know your password!!!! 😂 Great video man, nice morning vibes.
Haha well I think that’s the standard password, not really high security.
Thanks for watching, have a great weekend!
@@Sprometheus you too man! Happy holidays 😊
hypnotizing

The shirt buttons were a bit on the awkward side, heh. Nice shot, tho!

What is that scale? Calming video.
Why does the water you put in the tank have to be cold ?

3:50 “I’d like more density”. I was really hoping you’d go Funny Farm and toss the shot on a bird out the window
What is the purpose of having an espresso scale and a dry scale? Could either scale be used for both purposes?
I've considered buying another scale to leave on my machine. I almost dropped my lunar on the tile floor again today while moving out back to where I dose my beans.
Which scales were you using ?

At one point you spend so much on your home cafe, that it would make more sense to buy a starbucks shop!
☕☕☕ Love Is Important 💟💟💟
I love watching these
I’m glad, because I love making them! Cheers!
Once I learned how to make arabic coffee I saved money and time on machines and have a superior coffee experience every morning.
Can someone compound chill a shot with a DragonBall?
If someone can, it’s gonna be me!
@@Sprometheus if do gotta wear a DragonBall durag and be rocking a gold Vegeta chain like ThunderCat
I formally request more dragoball espresso fusions (pun intended)@@Sprometheus
Beo your hands are so shaky at the ends, you gotta do breakfast. You’ll die from supersonic heartbeat 😂
Dragon ball!
Nail biter 😉
Kino tism
Noisy, eh?
I’d in the grand scheme of espresso machines I’d say it’s on the quieter end, but on the louder end of rotary pumps.
Another nice relaxing video. By flushing after brew you remind me why I need to use puck screen/PF. Lol
