Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

انتہائی اہم سوالات تھے ۔۔۔واقعی لوگوں کے ذھن میں یہ اشکالات ہیں آیات کی منسوخی کے بارےمیں ۔۔۔
لیکن غامدی صاحب کا جواب جو کہ عام طور پر بڑا مدلل ہوتا ہے بلکل convincing نہیں لگا ۔۔۔
انہونے آیت کو جیسا سمجھا اور پھر پورا جواب اپنے اس concept کو justified کرنے میں لگا دیا۔۔

In such a short time, it may not be possible to cover all the minute details. Everyone of us, irrespective of his stand for him, is aware of the fact that this man is well learned man, who not only has read different works right from our Aslaaf to great scholars that have live in the past,but has also adopted the research based approach in this regard. Now, it must be understood that whatever his opinion is, it would be based on the knowledge that he has acquired from his research and learning for almost 50 years. Then, he is also an established scholar say the least, he can apply his mind to elucidate on these issues. Why are people trying to find fault in this as if he is defending his own works on islam, but it should be keept in mind that he's trying his best to weed out doubts from the minds of the people,so that they come closer to Allah.

یہ آیات متشابہ ہیں اس کا حقیقی علم صرف اللہ کے پاس ھے ۔ ایسی ایات کے پیچھے نہیں پڑنا چاہیے گمراہ ہو سکتے ہیں
نھیں اللہ اذل سے ابد تک باخبر ھے یہ الگ بات ھے کہ شیطان کے وسوسوں کو قرآنی روح سے بھلانا یا کامیابی حاصل کرنا یہ جو ما ننسخ من آیتہ وھی بات کہ ھم منسوخ کرتے ھیں آیت سے شیطان کے وسوسوں کو یا انسان سے بھلا دیتا ھے جیسے انعام آیت 112_115_حم السجدہ _36_انعام _116_121 البقرہ 102_یوسف آیت 100 سورہ ص آیت 41_42_43_44_الحج _52_53_ یھاں یہ ثابت ہوگیا کہ شیطان سے بچنے کیلئے قرآن کے آیتوں کا مضبوط سھارا لینا چاھئے جیسے یحق اللہ حق بکلماتہ و لو کرہ المجرمون باقی رھا یہ بات توسورہ یونس آیت 64_سورہ ق 29_الفتح ایت23_انعام آیت 112سے 115 المؤمنون 97_98_الحج 52_53_54 جیسے آدم علیہ سورہ طہ ایت120 اور آخری سورت یوسوسو فی صدورالناس یعنی قرآن کے روح شیطان کے وسوسوں کو بھلا بھلا کرتے کرتے ایک سال میں جب آپ کے دل میں جو نیت تھا بھایئ کا بھایئ کے ساتھ دوست کا دوست کے ساتھ بیوی کا بیوی کے سات والدین اقربا کے ساتھ تو نیت محکم رہ جاتا ھے اگر قرآنی آیتوں کو صبح و شام ظھر و دیگر رات پڑھتا رھے تو ایک سال مشقت کے بعد آپ محکم رہ جائینگے
جناب آل محمّد صلی علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو صرف بنی اسماعیل علیہ السّلام کی کہنا قرآن کریم کی تعلیمات کے خلاف ہے ۔ اس کی صحیح حقیقت سورۃ آل حج میں آخری آیت میں وضاحت موجود ہے ۔

قرآن پاک احکامات بتدریج نازل ہوئے، اور اس کی حکمت بھی بیان ہوئی۔ اس میں دوسری بات یہ بھی ہے کہ بعض احکامات بعض حالات میں ہوتے ہیں، اور جب حالات بدلتے ہیں، تو احکامات بدل جاتے ہیں۔ ناسخ و منسوخ کے معانی سلف صالحین کے نزدیک یہ نہیں تھی، جو آج کے دؤر میں بیان ہوتی ہے۔
