Yes ma'am. black pepper i dont use for this sambar powder. if you like , definetely it can be added according to your taste. my suggestion is for this sambar powder around 2-3 tbsp black pepper can be added For family of 2, if i take it as 1/2 liter of sambar, you can add upto 1 tbsp of sambar powder, again it varies according to taste. The sambar powder i have shown is medium spice. so 1/2 tbsp of powder for 1/2 liter of sambar is medium spice. Thanks

Done it on a large proportion, difficult to do nowdays we have small fly, for sambar we are using only dhania bengalgram urad dhal redchilli connamon jeera pepper menthya
Generally in traditional way people won’t use cinnamon and cloves .. Very rarely some people like her do.. But traditionally Brahmins and all won’t use them..
With all the ingredients it comes around 1.5 kg of sambar powder . As I said it is completely optional and if added it gives very good taste n aroma Thanks

@@vasanthinagaraj316cumin (jeera) is also so much.. For half kg Dhania you need only 50 gms jeera.. It’s more than enough.. We are making sambar powder from more than 8, 9 decades.. (my grandmas time) So I’m telling.. And it’s my opinion.. You can prepare as per your wish..
