Yeah bring back ORIGINAL Shakespeare with all male casting so we can see men dressed as women pretending to be men as the Bard intended! 😂😂😂

@@torreykatwell said I was just about to answer the same that originally all roles were played by men and boys so miladydewinter obviously would prefer that to women and girls.

Shakespeare, famously a conservative playwright who never thought about gender or its implications when writing his plays

Hey, shakespearean scholar here! "As You Like It" is a play that openly explores and defies gender norms and boundaries. I will remind you that Rosalind spends the play disguised as a man, while she is palyed by a male actor. It has been meant to be queer from the very instant it was first played in the 16th century. Classics are meant to travel with us across the centuries : it is only desirable that this play is interpreted through its queer lense. It is not ideological, it is not propaganda : it is creative freedom. Lets thank those actors for their respect to the actual spirit of the original text. Shakespeare's comedies are meant to be deeply happy, and I think no one but these people could do it any better.

No harm surely. It might attract a newer audience .
