It is fun seeing you progress through these issues. Alot of channels only show success, you my friend show us the real life problems and show us how to work through them. Keep up the great work. Probably one of the most real DIY channels.
Congrats! Nice work, and I applaud your persistence. I've been following your progress and hoped to learn as you progressed. So I was kind of bummed when you had the electrical noise issues with that other plasma. I've been having fun with my 3D printer in the mean time, making some of the popular ones like the Emmett geared cube and the Barry Solo finger pen. I'm in California and it's a dry summer, so I'm not doing any metal work that involves lots of sparks or fire. But in the fall when the rains start again and the hills turn green, I'd like to move ahead with things, trying to copy your success. Congrats again in this major milestone. We were all rooting for you.
Yeah I really wanted to prove that I could get my Eastwood Plasma cutter to work. I think it would of been possible with longer cables and I wonder if doing this in a metal lined building was a problem. It is possible but I just decided my money was better spent selling my high frequency start plasma, and buying this low frequency one. I would of broke about even if I didn't sell it cheaper to my brother. Then again now my brother has one to borrow if this one goes south. I also enjoy my 3d printer, it's fun playing with fusion 360 if I ever get the time. Hope you get some rain, it has been pretty dry in the midwest too
Not with the current setup I believe. If I remember correctly the ramps 1.4 and Marlin were unable to do it. I know others have successfully used one with different controls.
Alguien me puede ayudar , nosotros elaboramos la maquina , pero esta fallando , cuando corta , se desfasa y pierde su ruta , a que se debe ? corta en mdf
Congrats! Persistence is key! Keep refining. That is what ‘maker’ is all about.
It's been a fun exercise for sure.

Thank you for the support
Great job! Congrats
Thank you!
@@eliworks8549 I plan on building one myself. I May be asking you some questions if that’s alright.
@@anthonyramirez-noaafederal1407 questions are welcome.
Hello, great video, thanks for all the information. Is there any way to add THC to your cnc plasma?
Not with the current setup I believe. If I remember correctly the ramps 1.4 and Marlin were unable to do it. I know others have successfully used one with different controls.
@@eliworks8549 Thanks for your answer, have a nice day!
How did you wire the torch on of switch?
I have a solid state relay just hooked up where the torch control lead plugs in. The switch in the handle is a simple contact switch and low voltage

It's too much interference, your motors are losing steps. Either more shielding or a low frequency cutter, maybe both
