Hey man I really appreciate the work you do I’m currently in paramedic school after never working as an EMT or in a pre hospital setting. I was just hired as a full time firefighter/paramedic so learning two professions at once can be overwhelming. Thank you for explaining EMS in a version where it’s understandable and relatable your the only one really doing this keep it up!
Love this. I’m Currently a paramedic student I use this as a tool to fully understand what I’m learning after reading the chapter it’s great to have someone to actually teach you this. Most programs in my area are much more of self learning. Instructors and preceptors are here to guide you, but sometimes it’s just nice having an actual recording of someone speaking to you in simple terms. Highly recommend, you do read the chapters on your own.
I am currently in EMT class, and I was able to do a presentation without flaws because of the way you explain things. It was impressive to everyone, and it made me very confident in my knowledge. Thank you for making these videos.
After reading and going to class. Highlighting everything AND listening to the audiobook I still couldn’t get it. THIS is the video that made it click. Thank you!!!
A learned more in the first five minutes than all the lectures I’ve listened to in my advanced class. I’m in a hybrid program and I so wish your videos were part of it. Thank you thank you.
Marcy, thank you for the kind words here! That's why I have the video vault so no matter what class you attend you can use my material to get ahead: www.prepareforems.com This can get you ahead of class and NREMT for advanced.
I'm in paramedic school now, this helps! You make it "easy/digestible"! I appreciate you, you helped increase my basic score when I was going through that, no doubt your helping now going through medic!
I just wanna leave this here, you’re video help with with passing EMT school, and passing the NREMT with ease, I am glad there are people out there like you who make these videos.
Currently sitting in the back of the truck on my first BLS shift with no previous experience and your section about Alpha/beta1/beta2 blew my mind. Such a simple explanation giving me that 💡 moment. Thank you!
I finally bought the video vault and Im really excited to become a paramedic!!! I cant wait to become great like you Evan!!! Thank you Paramedic Coach!!
Hello paramedic Evan!! I just wanted to say thank you sooo much I used the nremt accelerator and passed at 70 questions!! I was so afraid of the test but your material gave me everything I needed to be successful. So again thank you!! #oneanddone
In my fourth week of an accelerated paramedic class and I have to say your videos were a great help to pre study for class and just as great while in class 🤘🏼
Dude omg . I’m so mad at myself ! I took my state today and when I came home I started thinking why did I put that answer down I knew it was the other one and I even looked it up and my first gut feeling was right UGH I’m so OVERWHELMED. Now I’m waiting lol
Well I’m back lol got my results . I got above passing on everything but got below passing on EMS OPERATIONS . I’m so ANNOYED with myself because I’m school on my finals that was the only thing that I did terrible in . And I did terrible again . Gotta wait 15 days to retest . A little disappointed . But it’s okay . Learning experience right .
Ok, so just to be clear on the EMS. It should standard to put one or the other name across the board. Or put both. Should just be a cut and clear law so in case of emergencies I don't start getting confused too. So just go straight generic name on all bottles
Hi Evan, I love your videos. I am addicted, I watch them every day and night and have done for months now. One thing, could you leave out the background jingle / music. When I am trying to listen and remember every word, the background noise is distracting. - thanks. Leah
I am thinking on going into emt but what are you thoughts on transitioning from cna/pct to emt or go straight ems which is 9 months plus bit of experience in pharmacy
giving examples is not an explanation what is a generic name or brand name or trade name - all you did is give examples after i did a google search, i understood it talking louder does not make me learn the material what about the PNS and ANS to explain SNS and ParaNS then the sympathomimetic and parasympathomimetic meds make sense mimic? yes, it's in the word - explaining that would help

Not gonna lie man, Zero to Heroes are highly looked down on in this profession, but I'm sure you've already figured that out 😅

Welcome to the channel!

I'm confused because "sympatholytics" is listed under "agonist" and "turn-on action," but you said it "shuts off" the sympathetic nervous system.
What are the 3 main recoptors
What happens when alpha is turned on
Constricts arteries
Epinephrine
Did you hear ?? They’re changing up the entire test style for the NREMT. Send help !!
