"Dead colors" is a very very good description of the problem that I see with many modern games. And I could say with modern movies as well but at least the games can be fixed somehow.

u know i always try your solutions like the ones for cyberpunk and it ends looking worse to me lol, in this case i prefer the original colors wich i think its just creators intend to set a desaturated war vibe (reminds me of the og gears of war and its filters) and i dont find it looking bad. i still like your vids bro its good to see another fan of picture quality talking with passion

@@plasmatvforgaming9648you need to disable the anti cheat by creating a bat file in the game directory and hdr analysis lilium shader overlay will start working. Works great now.

On the PS5 you can try HDR always ON with Dynamic tone Mapping and if you're using an LG OLED try FPS game Genre preset to get it more colorful
But isn’t that just SDR in an HDR container? I’m hoping the devs patch in native HDR support.
I now use Rtx HDR set to low (disables an anti banding filter that is what causes the performance drop) and I only lose like 4-5 frames now. I use the modded Rtx HDR for this.

@@Superdazzu2 He's probably using a slightly different version of RTX HDR called NvTrueHDR, where you can tweak the HDR effect more precisely.

On PC use HDR on monitor or tv not windows HDR looks amazing and you don't lose 10/15 fps
I use RTX HDR with saturation at 60. Looks very colorful. On a 4090 so good performance

If you want to play this online without the risk of a ban or the loss of performance with RTX Hdr, using the autohdr force app with the gamma fix you've shared before, is the option i personally would go for. That's how i play most of my online games, which don't have a native hdr implementation.

I prefer NvTrueHDR with the "Low" preset.
I found it looked ok using autoHDR on Windows 10 on the C2 and C3 with HGIG and adjusting the in-game brightness setting so the image was barely visible. Not native HDR level obviously, but better than some other autoHDR implementations.
Does that make a difference? Cause I've used hgig in sdr games with auto hdr it looks the same as sdr No difference

There is a very interesting post made on Reddit that talks about how AutoHDR with Dylanraga's ICC profile (Gamma2.2) still isn't the optimal solution for gaming with AutoHDR.
The OP further explores this with a better solution using "Lilium's SDR TRC" fix on 'default settings' (with HDR Calibration Profile). And the end result is noticeably better than Dylanraga's solution.

Why not just use Auto HDR of win11, it works Great + fine tuning in game brightness calibration For me, it's 0.7>2.5>0.6 and no washed out picture. (and no loss fps)?
Win11 AutoHDR needs to be fixed because most games are originally SdR Gamma 2.2 and AutoHDR is targeting originally sRGB games

The crashing is egregious, tried everything "suggested" too. Both by the devs and community. Rtx 4080, 7800x3d. It better be one hell of a day 1 patch

This is not alien blood. Shows a bunch of dead aliens in the scene.

Our Blood is considered the color of wine because both owe their red hue to the presence of iron. More red means more oxygen.
If your saying the alien blood should not be red. Then that just a matter of interpretation of what it's made of. Green just a other option.
But, If I where to guess the reason the alien blood is that color is because. Lore wise the Tyranid would change based on their DNA composition. So we wouldn't really know ether way that color could be correct or not.
But, of course you can just say you like it better as a brighter shade of red.

You didnt even bother to look at the Wukong screens i sent, you should've told me not to lose time making the screens to convince you about the foliage. I destroyed the downloadable link for the screens, at one point you'll see what i was talking about.
I've been getting a lot of emails with links and I have to be careful, that's why I didn't click on your link. I thought you were going to attach the pictures
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 those pictures were a couple hundred Megabytes, Yahoo mail don't allow to send more than 25MB that's why i have sent them through getshared website. A .png screenshot is like 15MB and there was quite a few. I sent them in a .rar file, it wasnt an executable to be afraid of viruses, i think hackers doesn't loose time to subscribe to a channel, comment on the videos and at some point to try and send malicious pictures! Oh and i found the Calisto Protocol's menu to tweak HDR settings, they exist on PC too and you can make the black levels look good by the in game HDR settings, i didnt installed Reshade and the HDR analysis tools yet but ill check how Calisto ended up looking just by tweaking it's HDR sliders but in my eyes is contrasty and looks amazing.
Yahoo lets you attach 25MB, those .png screens were a couple of hundreds of Megabytes that's why I used getshared website!!
