Today I came to this conclusion,
LeBron James is the new era of NBA. There has never been a player the size of Carl Malone with the speed, agility, and Basketball smarts as Kobe Bryant. And check this, LeBron James has a "Muhammed Ali" in him, he is a great humanitarian. LBJ is using his own $$ to better his community. He is helping the less fortunate. LBJ is advocating community welfare and playing for championships at the same time!!!. Let this sink in.
To my knowledge no NBA player has done or is doing what LBJ is doing with his community. When LBJ retires, his off the court deeds will make him an Icon, a legend, an immortal, just like Muhammed Ali.
Another reason LBJ is the new era of NBA because he is master of social media. He is also a master of free agency. LBJ is breaking all the rules and at the same time creating new rules. He is a special star. He's a TRAILBLAZER! A PIONEER.
Today I became a LeBron James fan.
Today I realized Michael Jordan was a greedy SOB. Today I realized MJ never cared about his people, about his community. He only cared about becoming the best NBA player ever.
Today I put LBJ in front of MJ, not because of his on the court achievements but because of his off the court actions. LBJ is an amazing human being. All of his whining, flopping, has been erased. When it's all done, LeBron James will surpass MJ, LBJ will be the next Muhammed Ali, in mind.
I used to be a huge fan of MJ, but now I see him as another OJ Simpson.
LBJ is one of the best role models I have ever witness. Parents will understand this, if you have no children you wont understand this and its OK.

He had to grow as a man and as a player and Wade and Riley helped him with that. And he delivers the Chip... Im still speechless. He may not have won everything but his story is hard to match. One of the great ones for sure. Im glad to witness this story.

You do not win a seven game series against the greatest team in your era an underdog, let alone come back from 3-1 without any home court advantage that's just incredibly impossible. This would go down as one of those achievements in basketball that is unbreakable. This championship, in terms of quality--is worth more than many many more championship.
