I have a Pentair power center to go with our intellichlor, does the power center need to hook up to the Pentair easy touch panel?

How do you actually hook up the power center to the east touch?

If the chlorinator is connected to easy touch panel...is unit still on when pump goes off because lights are still on.
Just wondering if I need to connect to panel differently so that unit completely powers of via timer the same as pool pump timer.

It sounds like one of two things.
1) The pump is programmed to run a shorter time in the schedules (variable speed only in this case) versus the filter pump relay for the salt cell. This is just a simple reschedule and wires are wired correctly.
2) Whoever wired it wired it directly to the line side (where the breakers power 24/7) giving you that issue as well. This issue would require the salt system to be rewired to the load side of the filter pump relay.

It depends on which power center you have. Some come with the connection and some don’t.

How old is the system? It’s possible the salt cell is bad. Is the IC enabled in the IC menu of the automation?

I am getting a 0 ppm salt reading from my easytouch but all the lights on the ic40 are green and it is producing salt. If I disable the chlorinator and then reenable using the easytouch should the pump be on or off?

Can the cell be controlled by it's own buttons while connected to an easytouch panel?

If it has a stand alone transformer and no 485 comm wire cable ran, then yes it can.
