I have a Quran, and honestly take better care of it than my own copies of the Book Of Mormon. I wish you luck! Pray on the earth like our beloved prophet did, no mats. Only use them when the ground is dirty. Do not treat the rug as a pillar of salah, and it can be almost any fabric, including clothes and turbans.
