I'm not Tymon, but you should learn to plan cross+1 in inspection. You can just dive right into it and commit hard(which would take maybe 4-6 hours tops). Another thing would be to maybe learn 2-side pll and oll recognition, to cut down on last layer pauses. Try looking into ramping up your fluidity during solves, by focusing a lot more on lookahead. Sub 10 is when pauses become unforgivable. And finally, stop thinking about improvement in terms of barriers. Your goal is not go get to sub 9, or sub 8, or anything like that, your goal is to get better. A mindset like that will lead to better improvement and better comp results.
@@notmecubes Thanks for the advice, I don’t do double recognition on last layer, and I’m currently learning how to predict first pair, I think what I need to work on is efficiency. I have a smart cube, and although my TPS is often over 6, my move count is often 70+, so I really need to work on that
