FOB absolutely nailed the zeitgeist. A guilty pleasure for sure, I was way older than the band members. "Sugar, We're Goin Down" is darn purdy.
Everything on the "Cork Tree" record is a banger
Fallout Boy and My Chemical Romance (among others) basically took turns owning the 13-18 year old market when they came out. They were sooooo popular at one time.
Loving MCR, even the new song. Wish they would do more MCR here, there is a good library of unique songs

"I Brought you Bullets" is still such a badass album, back when they were more hardcore than emo. Me and skater crew literally wore that disc out, lol. Don't get me wrong, Black Parade and everything else is great as well, but their best song (to me, at least) will always be 'Hang 'em High.'
Fall Out Boy has a great catalog; especially the pre-hiatus albums. They were a big deal back in the day.

I loved the way that the very guys that were so cool in the band on stage were the same "geeks" in the crowd. Now there's a message that you can be whoever you want on stage. BTW, Most guys I know in bands refuse to dance in clubs lol!

Fall Out Boy seriously has 3 albums that I consider perfection: From Under the Cork Tree (which this song is from. You've definitely heard the other huge single from it, Sugar We're Going Down), Infinity on High, and Folie a Duex (which is French for "The Misery of Two")

One of my favourite bands are Yellowcard and their biggest hit is probably Ocean Avenue, but they made so much great music after this as well which goes a bit under the radar.
I would really recommend you guys to listen to One Bedroom by Yellowcard and watch the video which is promoting the work of ”Invisible Children”. It’s quite emotional.

I was at an art-school party in the mid-80s, chatting up four attractive young women, each with a distinct look, and drinking vodka together. At one point one said, "Take off your glasses."
