My father was stationed at Ft.Clayton, in the Canal Zone, from 12/'41 to 04/'44, during WWII! Wanting to see it myself, I have traveled to Panama, via ship, three times, & have driven the 48 miles, from end to end once; been to Gatun Lake once & finally made it through to the Pacific side, on my last trip in 2013! Fabulous experience!
Thank you so much! I am an old lady now and probably won't get to take this cruise. I feel a bit like I was there! Wish I could give this video more than one like!
That was amazing to watch. Thanks for persevering through the entire crossing so we could vicariously view it. Your dedication to your audience is appre
Tony, I was right behind you when you were filming the Gatun Locks. Thank you for greatly enhancing our experience with this amazing video. It is a pleasure sailing with Jenny and you! (And Don and Angelina too!)
This has to be the BEST cruise content video EVER! Thank you Tony! Panama Canal has officially been added to my cruise bucket list…..which is steadily growing now that I found your channel!
So very cool. Thank you! As a cruise specialist travel agent who has never done this cruise, I really appreciate this first hand view of what it is actually like!!
Really enjoyed this quick version of the Locks. Trying to convince my husband that we should cruise Panama Canal. Grandma Sarah in remote northeastern Montana
As another Montanan, I am trying to convince my husband to go with me on this bucket list cruise next year. I can't make up my mind whether we should go East to West or vice versa.
Wow, that brought back memories! I spent a good chunk of my childhood in Panama. My grandfather was an employee at Miraflores Locks. I haven't been back since 1976. Really want to go back for a visit someday to see how much it's changed since then. Thanks for posting!
Wow! Fancy schmancy with the music, the logo and the spiffy finish. Honestly, can you imagine being on a cruise ship that moved as fast as a speed boat...ha ha! Your patience is much appreciated...that was great!
Wow. Oh my gosh, love how you can see the ship rise in the chambers because of the speed up. Didn’t know there were so many more to go through. I really should have done the 14 day one! Thanks. Seriously, amazing and so much fun. ❣️❣️
Soooo Cool!!! Thank you Tony! We did a partial transit of the Panama Canal on the Island Princess in 2019. So fascinating to see the full transit - on my bucket list!
We did the partial transit on Coral Princess in 2003. It was great, but nothing compared to what you captured for us all. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible fast-mo! Enjoy the rest of your west-coast adventure!
For me that was the best way to see the Panama Canal. I've never had an interest in going through it cuz I feel like it would be watching paint dry. I love that trip with you
Thanks for showing this in 5 minutes. The live stream was soooo long! Lol. I actually watched it later so I could fast forward. But the 5 minute video was cool!
Wanted to comment earlier that I loved this video. I am definitely doing this cruise. Also, not surprised that things are not going as smoothly as one would hope. My father used to say, “You don’t want to be one of the first people to get a “redesign” of any car because they have not worked out the kinks.” I have applied that theory to pretty much everything I do and it has served me well. 🌞🌞
Thanks Tony. Brought back many memories of our March transit (Pacific to Atlantic) in 2010 on the Coral Princess - lots of canal expansion going on then and no rain. Was interesting seeing how some of the land removal turned out on Gatun Lake.
I will be on the Queen Elizabeth August of 2023 and your video started my mouth watering. I can't wait to get there! The only thing I'm worried about is the heat, but I'll make it through it like you did. Take care and have a great rest of your trip.
This is so awesome. We want to do this someday. We have a boat and go through the locks on the TN River, so this is super cool to see. Thanks Tony & Jenny for taking us along!!
Great video! I have done the canal several times but as you know it makes for a long day so between meals, pool and reading a lot gets missed. To see it put together this way is fabulous!
Excellent! Thank you, Tony. I've been through the PC 3 times and this was fascinating. I appreciate so much the amount of time you spend taking videos, editing, and uploading. Bravo!
Ohh my... And to think.... Tony B thought this would be boring!!! 😋 That seriously looks like a mechanical marvel that I'm gonna have to see one day for myself!!!
This was so awesome to watch….what an experience that would be for sure the Panama 🇵🇦 Canal thank you again for sharing your Panama experience Tony and Jenny……DG and TG Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
The hooked on phonics ad at the start of this is the best ad ever!
Wow Tony your endurance and dedication to filming that whole day transit from 7a-6p is amazing! Very impressed, hats off to you!!! 👏👏👏
I always love watching the locks like this - really shows how cool the feat of engineering is
Took me back to our partial passage in 2016 on the Coral Princess. Awesome video, pure poetry!
Absolutely beautiful! My country! 🇵🇦 🇵🇦🇵🇦

Thanks for the sped up version! I’m trying to get my husband to commit to doing a full transit voyage. This may be the clincher!!
If only it could be this fast instead of a whole day. Thanks for this video.

Thank you for this, I’ve never experienced traveling through the Panama Canal. Very different than what I imagined. Very educational.

That's an amazing timelapse! Great job!
We've done 6 full transits of the Canal and it never gets old for me! Thanks for the video!
Did this trip back in 2004. Was nice to see the journey through the canal again. Thank you.
That was an AMAZING video Tony!!! Love the ship rising & lowering in eack lock, that was way cool...

I think this is literally the best video you've done in years :) And you always have awesome videos!
Never transited the canal but memories of car, train and small boat ride on lake Gatun.
Wow! Fancy schmancy with the music, the logo and the spiffy finish. Honestly, can you imagine being on a cruise ship that moved as fast as a speed boat...ha ha! Your patience is much appreciated...that was great!
How fun that was. I can't imagine how much fun it was in person. Thank you for taking us with you.
thank you for the time lapse I only lasted 30 minutes live
Wow. Oh my gosh, love how you can see the ship rise in the chambers because of the speed up. Didn’t know there were so many more to go through. I really should have done the 14 day one! Thanks. Seriously, amazing and so much fun. ❣️❣️
Very cool!! Thanks for doing this! A cruise to Panama Canal is now on my bucket list! 🚢
Thanks Tony for the "Reader's Digest" version. Looking forward to experiencing the canal in the coming years.
Soooo Cool!!! Thank you Tony! We did a partial transit of the Panama Canal on the Island Princess in 2019. So fascinating to see the full transit - on my bucket list!
Very cool to see! I was just talking to my wife wondering how all of this was done on a Panama Canal cruise. Also loved seeing the rainbow!
I watched the live playback. It's so cool to see it sped up.
Loved my cruise through the Panama Canal, Long Beach to Tampa. Would do it again in a heart beat. Thanks, Tony.
The music was very fitting for the journey.
This was a great capture Tony!!! Love it, thank you for sharing!!!
One of the best canal videos I've seen! Great job!!
Thanks Tony. We watched the entire live on Sunday, but this full time lapse was pretty cool.
You could feel all the human energy with the first views. Great both ways...
Luv THE QUICK Panama Canal cruise ......lol
Good Tony!!! Thanks for uploading. I so enjoyed it Sunday morning as well. BTW, love the background music.
Watched the live stream but this is incredible. Love your content. Keep it coming. Thank you Tony and Jenny for all you do.
Excellent!! Really let's you see the movement through the canal that you couldn't see in real time. Thanks!
That was so awesome to watch! Thanks for taking the time to record all of that and sharing with us! Hope you enjoy the rest of your cruise.
I watch the live presentation. This is so much better.
What a quick transit! When we did it it took all day lol.
Great video editing, Tony. I felt like I was there!
This was very cool. Gives one an entirely different perspective.
I love that trip with you
Thanks for sharing the time-lapsed version.
You did an amazing job editing this!!! I was watching live on Sunday and enjoyed that but this was fun! Thanks
This is the best! Even music choice was great. Thanks for putting in the time to produce this
Thanks for showing this in 5 minutes. The live stream was soooo long! Lol. I actually watched it later so I could fast forward. But the 5 minute video was cool!
Enjoyed this faster version....more obvious when ship was raised or lowered in the locks. Pretty cool
I saw this when you were live. I love how you edited. I enjoyed both the live and the edited version. Thanks for sharing!

Canal transits are so much fun!
This was so completely awesome! I had no idea what type of experienced this cruise was! Adding it to our bucket list absolutely!
I think it looks much nicer going throught the Pacific side. Well done Tony.
Thank you for reminding me of my 2014 cruise thru the Panama Canal
Great footage! Looks fantastic on the big screen! Thanks Tony! Enjoy your cruise and time with Jenny and friends!
I will be on the Queen Elizabeth August of 2023 and your video started my mouth watering. I can't wait to get there! The only thing I'm worried about is the heat, but I'll make it through it like you did. Take care and have a great rest of your trip.
We really enjoyed your presentation. Great work. Sam Me.
Loved seeing it in time lapse. Very cool.
Wow... fantastic video of the transit. The rainbow near the end of the video was a nice touch too. ;-)
Hi Jenny and Tony!
This is awesome!
Thank you for the Panama Canal Cruise video 🛳❤️🌊
More than ever I want to do the Canal!!
Loved this video! It was so fascinating to watch, I’m hoping you’ll capture more time lapses of the ships movement like this in the future!
Hey, Hey, Hey, Definitely on my Bucket list.
Tony, this is a really wonderful and enchanting video! The Panama Canal is definitely on my bucket list!
Was there in February. Went thru on Holland America and took a ferry the rest of the way. It took over eight hours but worth every minute of it!
That was really cool to watch. Thank you for sharing this. Very impressive how the system works. Have a great rest of your voyage. ❤❤
That was so enjoyable watching it sped up like that. I’ll be doing that cruise in reverse in May of 23. Keep up the good work Tony
Wow that’s fascinating! Thank you Tony for sharing and being there! This is definitely on my bucket list!
Thank you. Hanging on Spirit on her return voyage in September. This is why I booked it
Thank you for sharing! This is convincing me to book a Panama Canal voyage.
We’re doing Mexican Riviera out of LA to Panama in November. I am really stoked now! Only 193 days to go!
This is so awesome. We want to do this someday. We have a boat and go through the locks on the TN River, so this is super cool to see. Thanks Tony & Jenny for taking us along!!

After seeing this vid, I am going to add this for certain to my bucket list.
Good Evening Tony, I missed the video when it came out this morning but I am watching it when I got home tonight just before 9:00pm.
Loved the short version! Thanks for a quick view!
Wow. I need to talk my sis into doing this! Thank you.

Tony, You are an artist 👩🎨 Impressive video!
Thanks for this video Tony. We went in the Gatan locks but came back out of them. It was nice to see what we missed on the Pacific end.
LOVE IT! Thanks for Sharing cause Panama Canal is DEFINITELY on our "TO DO" List.
