- I just got off the phone with my big brother Daddy Rich..
Rich, this post is me showing my deepest gratitude towards you for taking the time to reach out. I believe the success I've experienced throughout my career is at least in part due to the influence DJs such as yourself have had on me for the last 30 plus years, and so when kings like you speak, I LISTEN! I value all of the wisdom you imparted on me during our conversation today. You're right, legacy is all we got

So underrated for his contribution to hip hop
God bless the person who videotaped this. 🙏
30 years ago and still fresh
This my first time EVER seeing this. I’m sayin I knew Rich was nice from seein him on MTV and on Arsenio Hall with 3rd Bass, but I ain’t know he was THIS NICE!
As always thank you for sharing these gems ✊🏾💪🏾
Omg the fact you have these are treasures
Salute to the King and engineer Daddy Rich
He was always a favourite turntablist of mine. That 1987-1991 era of tablism... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I realized that those turntablists did Beat Juggling in some way, but it hadn't the name yet.
Is that Serch behind Daddy Rich? Listen to "3 Strikes 5000" to really hear his skills!
Yes
That was one of my favorite 3rd Bass tracks mostly because of scratches by Rich.
He stole the show spinning for 3rd Bass when they came to town back in the day. Search tried to intro Richie Rich's big scratch solo by asking 'who here likes LL Cool J?'. But the crowd booed! I guess they didn't think his Panther album measured up to B.A.D.. Serch and Pete cracked up at that, then Serch goes 'ok ok, but who here at some point in their life, way back in the distant past, once upon a time, liked the song Rock the Bells by LL Cool J?" 😂
Wassup RobSwift from eloy arizona 😁
