Was SO PLEASED to find a ring design using cabochons. AND you explained this so that even a beginning wire wrapper, LOL, could understand it!! Thanks so much!!! Sincerely. Georgia
I have been searching for a tutorial to make a pretty ring with a cabochon and am so happy I found yours. I love your design. It’s not fussy looking like some, but delicate with smooth lines and just the right amount of decoration to be eye catching. I’m going to attempt one right now ! 😊
I just finished making this ring and it is so beautiful! I started making jewelry about 6 weeks ago, but with your excellent explanations, I got it right first time round! Thank you so much and I will certainly make some of your other designs. Sunny greetings from Spain.
First time to your channel, very impressed with what I was in your tutorial so I joined in. I have several ways of getting large cabs for wrapping but have no clue where to go for stones the size needed for rings. Can you please tell where to get them??.
Just beautiful 👌. Ur tutorials are always innovative and with unique designs. U r really a great teacher. Thank you soooo much for teaching and sharing your skills with us with love and passion in detail. Stay blessed and safe. Take care 😘
thank you so much for explaining how to properly size a ring! This has been the hardest thing I have ever tried to eyeball and my rings either end up really big or really small and I just have to guess as to if the ring size perfectly. The detail that you put into the explanation really does help but thank you so much for that
I'm very new to jewelry making! Started only about 3 weeks ago. Your tutorial was super easy to follow and I had such a beautiful result! I will be wearing this ring to my homecoming :)
Thank you for showing us how to make the gorgeous ring. I would love to see more wrapping stones without holes as well as weaving and swirly decorative wrapping.😍😍😍
@@FantasiaElegance i will just keeo trying, I gave it one more wrap of half round😁 but still a little bit too big. Nevermind perhaps I can give it to one and make her happy. 🙏❤️
So pretty!! I love this ring. Would you be interested in doing a tutorial on ways to use the small scraps of wire? Also, can a person use something like sea glass that has an uneven edge?
Thank you , Dee! That's a great idea for another video :) I'm sure you could use something with an uneven edge, as long as you're able to encase it in the wires well enough that it's secure, the shape shouldn't really matter.
this was a great video, but was it skipping and buffering and going in and out of focus for anyone else? I don't know if it's my internet connection or not...
Wow, I just found ur channel and I love it! I watched a video from you from 6 years ago. I’m trying to find out what’s the best silver to make bangles that aren’t too thick. You mentioned silver filled wire, do you have any suggestions on where I could get this? I’m only doing this for gifts for friends and family, maybe a craft fair. Thank you so much, I just subscribed to ur channel!!! Liz 😊💗
Thank you so much for the kind words and the sub!! Yes, I love silver-filled wire; I buy all mine from RioGrande.com because they seem to have the best prices and selection :)
Hi I’ve tryed this in sterling silver and it hasn’t gone well at all do you have any tips I did it first in cheeper wire and it came out ok not brilliant but ok the silver acted differently kind regards
Hi Evelyn! Yes, sterling silver does handle a bit differently from other wires. I find that pure copper wire is the easiest to handle when you're starting out, but you can master any wire type with enough practice. You just have to play around with it enough to get the "feel" for it.
It depends on the metal and stone type used :) I do have two different ones in stock right now: www.etsy.com/listing/839850986/wire-wrapped-ring-green-labradorite-and?ref=shop_home_active_10&frs=1 and www.etsy.com/listing/839867202/wire-wrapped-ring-green-labradorite-and?ref=shop_home_active_9&frs=1 but I can also do a custom order with different metals, stones, sizes, etc.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am in bed 24/7 for a illness so learning how to do this helps my days go by. Thanks again!
I love this ring!! It’s so pretty. Can’t wait to make one. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
Отличная работа,без спешки и суеты.Все понятно. МАСТЕР. 💖💖💖💖💖💖👏👏👏👏😊😊😊😊

Aw, thanks so much, Kim! I'm so glad to hear you found it inspiring :)
Kim my twisted wire broke two times. Slippery cab. Lol

So pretty ❤️🇩🇰
Beautiful 🥰❤️❤️❤️ so pretty 🦋🦋🦋 how do we use a bigger stone flat on bottom and round on top?
Very nice !!!!

Thank you, Mary!!
Love this ring. I have a hard time finding small enough cabachons to make rings.
Thanks, Amy! Try searching for "8mm round cabochon" on Etsy.com (whatever size and shape you're looking for); you should get lots of hits :)
Amazon has small cabaschon in pkgs for this oroject
Beautiful! Would you be able to do the same design but without wrapping the band?
You should be able to, yes! It may be slightly less stable but I think it should work.
Very beautiful 🙏❤️
Love this ring, beautiful tutorial.
Thanks, Melinda!
Great love the way you do the video
Thanks, Richard!
Gorgeous!
Love it!😄
When I was a kid, I always said "I don't need to learn math, I'm going to be an artist!" LOL, little did I know.
Wow bagus banget cincin nya juga indah sekali hasilnya kk
Beautiful ring! Thank you.
Thanks, Anita! You're most welcome :)
You are the best. Thank you
Aw, thanks so much!
Can I use this same concept to wrap a point back crystal on a ring or do I need to do something different?
Good morning. I was wondering if you had made prong rings
Yes Perfect !! Thanks for sharing.
This is so pretty!
Thanks so much, Renee!
I just tried to make one today 😁❤️ it turned out okay, just too big unfortunately 😂 keep on practicing 💪
Getting the sizing spot on is really tricky with some of the wire wrapped rings. I still struggle with that!
@@FantasiaElegance i will just keeo trying, I gave it one more wrap of half round😁 but still a little bit too big. Nevermind perhaps I can give it to one and make her happy. 🙏❤️

Fange erst an es sieht soooo einfach aus ist es aber nicht ich finde es total toll
Love it!
i see some oval cabachons that i want to use which are 6x8mm. would that work?
Yes! An oval cab will work as well, it will just slightly change the look of the finished piece :)
@@FantasiaElegance thank u!
I plan on trying this , but I was wondering where you got the stone from ?
I buy my stones on Etsy :)
Nice!
Super 💞💞💞
可愛いです❣️

Wow.👍❤️
Where are you getting your small stones?
I purchase most of my stones on Etsy :)
Hello, I really want to buy, at Rio Grande store, they are asking for a code, I'm from Brazil, can you help me?
Hey! I'm not sure why that would be the case; I just had to create an account with them - email and password - before I could order.
Riogrande is not open
how much do you charge to make one of these for someone?
It depends on the metal and stone type used :) I do have two different ones in stock right now: www.etsy.com/listing/839850986/wire-wrapped-ring-green-labradorite-and?ref=shop_home_active_10&frs=1 and www.etsy.com/listing/839867202/wire-wrapped-ring-green-labradorite-and?ref=shop_home_active_9&frs=1 but I can also do a custom order with different metals, stones, sizes, etc.
beautifull.. thankyou for thhe idea.. pleass support each other..
I don't like the swirls, but it can be made without them.
