I remember I was 13 years old when Swift was burning. Me and my friends would ride up there on oyr bikes and watch the smoke and flames. It burnt so long because of all the animal fats that had seeped in to the wood.
Very Cool. I wish there was some old news footage of that. Also, I wish they could have kept more of the place intact. By the way, the JohnnyGoodday channel has some drone footage of the place before demolition began. It's a pretty good watch
I very much agree. It was the most awe-striking place I have ever seen in person. If I'm not mistaken, the only remaining building, excluding the office which has been renovated, is what functioned as the quality lab. Like gee...how exciting...Yawn. Oh well, at least there's something left, I guess.
