It feels like they scraped the usual soundtrack for generic, serene music most puzzle games use to play up their "Relax and unwind by playing our game!" angle.
This combines brand new assets with some features of PB4. I believe the secret characters on PB4 save for Monsta are from this. As the console version was released same year as this.
This game is vitally important to the plot between Millennium and Super on PS2. It needs a home release PHYSICAL or at the very least we need to get this working on the Legends Ultimate arcade cabinet.
Not to be confused with the later, but separated console and mobile game, both with the same name, I hope this gets an Arcade Archives re-release. Because if Puzzle Bobble 3 can get a re-release, why not this installment?

Has the correct music been dumped into the game? THe music must be entirely original and does not use preexisting songs.
I believe this is the original music as I saw on a Spanish stream and he played the exact same route except for one letter.
Yes of course This is the correct & original music in the game.
While still Puzzle Bobble at heart, the games music was probably the weakest of the first 5 games in the series.
