At the start of the year, most people thought we wouldn't make the playoffs and doubted us cuz of the sweep last year. From the team getting stuck in an elevator to 4OT games a broken leg, and Dame's Buzzer Beater. Even though we fell short, it was a season to remember and I look forward to next year. But somehow, with 3 starters out and a bench full of G-league recruits, GSW has swept the blazers, bested Houston, and made it to the finals 5 collective times. That's because of Kerr. He's smart and championship oriented, which is why gsw loses in the regular season but dominates in the off-season. That collective basketball IQ everybody talks about? Coaching. The "heart" that the team has? Coaching. Discipline. The way the supposedly trash bench has "stepped up?" Coaching. Media is right. The bench was trash. They were right to think gsw would suffocate without KD. What they didn't realize was how good the bench had become under Kerr, and how good Steph had become with Kerr's mentorship. Mister Frost Curry took like 5 steps
Steve Kerr deserves some credit. Klay and draymond good, but so are many other players. Obviously Steph is on another level from a sharpshooter standpoint, but even then there are players that have just as much scoring capability. But somehow, with 3 starters out and a bench full of G-league recruits, GSW has swept the blazers, bested Houston, and made it to the finals 5 collective times. That's because of Kerr. He's smart and championship oriented, which is why gsw loses in the regular season but dominates in the off-season. That collective basketball IQ everybody talks about? Coaching. The "heart" that the team has? Coaching. Discipline. The way the supposedly trash bench has "stepped up?" Coaching.
Media is right. The bench was trash. They were right to think gsw would suffocate without KD. What they didn't realize was how good the bench had become under Kerr, and how good Steph had become with Kerr's mentorship. Mark my words, Kerr will go down as one of the best NBA coaches of all time. He turned a trash franchise into a dynasty.

Don’t let this series affect your view on the Blazers too much. Nobody expected them to do much this series. They’re a great team but nowhere near the warriors level. Looking back, nobody, not the Blazers, not the Rockets, had a chance to beat the Dubs
They had chances warriors just too consistent, that's what separates superstars from all stars. They were up 15+ three times, rockets everybody healthy, clippers only ones with no stars but showed heart.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate Dell and Sonya for having kids and then another minute of appreciation for them because it must be so hard to have 2 kids on different teams playing against each other in the finals and knowing one of your kids will go home upset because they lost in the finals

Warriors is by far more consistent and reflect their dominance of the West Coast Conference appearances 5 and going for their 4th Championship. Which shreds Cleveland or lebron 8 and 3 non-winning record appearance. Losing is not a record to brag about for the NBA Finals.

I think so too. This is playoff warriors. I made the mistake of doubting them during the regular season but I'm realizing they were saving themselves for May and June. If Milwaukee goes into this even just a little bit too relaxed it's going to be a quick series
