There's no ethnic group in Africa named "Ayigbe'.

If other Ghanaians do not know how to pronounce our name as "Evwheh", it is our duty to reeducate them about how our name is pronounced and how it is called.
We can not continue to add more mislabeling to their ignorance.
There was once a place on old west Africa map named Evwhehland, so if no one knew what our proper name is, then how can any young person including foreigners in Ghana ever know who are the people of Evwhehland when they come across it in a book?
And we are NOT "Ewe" because that is a female sheep in english.
