@@AmtrakFunkandDiscoFan and i’m fr so glad for that, even tho i’m not even from california. at least some decent things have come back to the surfliner service
DOPE! Y’all have been getting all sorts of lucky lately, this is such nostalgia I wish it could always be like this man. Those classic F40’s never get old I like that paint scheme and they also sound very nice horn wise!
Imagine if any other F40's being converted to NPCU's had the Surfliner paint like the F59's, including 381 or others where they were used for more trains on the timetable. That would've been nice to see a 90381 or something, but if only 90208 was mended the most.
For the first time since March 2020, NPCUs are back on the Surfliner again.
covid really changed everything lmao
@rebooted.jupiter_ Yeah, well, guess what. Our dreams of the NPCUs returning to the Surfliner came true.

@@rebooted.jupiter_ Yeah bro, the Surf Line seems back to its former glory.
They’re permanently staying there??
Badass to hear these NPCUs on the Surf Line! Looking forward to seeing them in the foreseeable future!

That NPCU used to be on the San Joaquins before. Now there on the Pacific Surfliner, pretty much for sure 90225’s horn is the same
These two were great to see on Surfliner, I was starting to think they’d never run them down here lol
About time! Rumor is they staying here, so hopefully many more opportunities to come
Excellent video my friends 😊awesome 😮Greeting 🙋🏻♀️like 👍🏻
What a great year for the surfline so far, lots of good power on BNSF, and even some nice variety on the surfliners! Great catches

Epic catch!
I like the sound of 90225
Indeed
I kinda hope 90218 also gets another chance on the rails like these two.
NIce set of catches. Great sounding K5LA's on those NPCU's.
Appreciate it Ya I like the way the sound comes out on those Cabbages. It's smooth!
Fantastic footage!
Missed it on 581, wish I coulda seen it
Really REALLY nice to see NPCUs on the Surfline again
Yes!
Glad the SoCal foamers get to enjoy something we up north have
Hell ya!!
amazing, it would be cool to see the lower levels run but who knows… nice video
Maybe one day the way this equipment is going.... 😑 Thanks
90225 on 581💀
I see 90225’s ditch lights don’t flash, yet 90215’s do.
Do the crossing gates have a special sensor for passenger trains when they move because soon as the train blew its horn the gates activated
I wonder if 90215 and 90225 and 6 Comet Cars will come back to NorCal
Rumor I heard was no...?
@@AmtrakCal462 to me they do need to come back to NorCal because of the Venture cars
Wait, they’re really staying there for good!!!? (At least until they get old)
@@trainguy110 what if there’s more venture cars coming on the San Joaquin’s
Unlikely they'll return to Oakland as San Joaquins is getting more venture coaches and new cab cars
although unusual, i think it would be 10K times cooler if the NPCU was outfitted with the old surfliner livery
What camera do you use
What’s causing the cab car shortage?
6953 has been dead since last year, 6906 is at Beech Grove, 6901 has a broken window & 6907s lights wont work
90215 on 581 💀
