A small thing worth noting is that if you make Feasting Hobbit your Ringbearer, it becomes almost unblockable as it cant be blocked by creatures with more or less power than Feasting Hobbit.
Just got this deck and as I was sleeving it, I was reading on how the Food engine works and I am really loving it so far. Can't wait to play it at my next game night.
This deck looks so fun. I thought about taking apart my Gyome deck and upgrading this one but I decided against it. Ima keep it all LOTR cards. Just gotta drop the random birds and treefolks and add stuff from the main set, other precons, and box toppers. Great video. Keep it up!
First time viewer, totally love your vibe dude. Comforting voice, thorough content, and the 8/16-bit cover of Howard Shore's hobbit theme was very nostalgic. Big like 😊
This channel is criminally undersubbed. I subscribed because I appreciate the time it took you to make this and you get straight to the point giving me the information without too much extra sauce on top. Thank you for making this video, now I can make my wife’s LOTR deck even better. PS: how do you feel about Anointed Procession being included in this deck?
I’m flattered, thank you! I think Anointed Procession is a fantastic addition to the deck, it’s just a bit pricey. If you can swing it without breaking the bank, absolutely add it in!
I just Pre-Ordered this Deck, I decided I want to add a little bit of the Soul Sister engine in there , and I do have a exquisite blood that I can add to this deck for a Infinite Win. However I do like the idea of Food Tokens and Also too from the four decks, this seems to be easy to play and beginner friendly.
With all that mana, access to black and no regard for budget, how do you not slot Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate into this? Since you have white also, Debt to the Deathless. There's 3 cards that are practically win cons right there.
I really like Sam in the command zone. But I think I want to run Merry and Pippin as the commanders instead. I think they have a better chance of closing out games than Frodo and Sam do
This deck is so easy to combo. Just add Exquisite Blood for a quick 2-card combo win. Or, a more honest combo and lore-friendly even, swap one of the treefolk for Scurry Oak. It goes infinite with Rosie Cotton and you can easily win with Mirkwood Bats trigger; Essence Warden/Prosperous Innkeeper with Sanguine Bond, or even with an extremely tall Scurry Oak and Treebeard if you want an old-fashioned treefolk beating.
The cards specific to the precon decks have a unique symbol that resembles the One Ring inside of a shield, the cards from the main set have a set symbol that looks like the One Ring.
Wouldn’t food have been cooler/better if it gained you 2 life and instead also allowed target creature gains indestructible or hexproof when sacked 🤷♂️

Excellent upgrade suggestions, but im not putting a robot in my hobbit deck no matter how good it is lol
Robot?!? That’s clearly some sort of armor animated by magic!
Hey the confectioner combo is just as nasty and gives you rats
So I’ve only been playing magic for a week, and my girlfriend got me this deck. Now that I have it, I’m having so much fun

Amazing that a bat from Mordor actually this this deck very well.
Mirkwood isn't in Mordor.
@@glephnir726 True.

Trail of Crumbs is an auto include.
Cool Video :) Is the food akd fellowship also playable in Duell/ French Commander?
I would also suggest kirrk

Add Doubling Season to this deck and it's game over
Nice vid. But The Music has an annoying scratchy noise making it a bit troublesome to watch with headphones on
Watching with earbuds and it sounds fine to me
If I buy a bunch of the set boosters, how do I know which cards are pre on and which cards are solo cards?
