Hi Dejmian, I have a proposal for a simulation:
Latewar M4A3 76s typically had wet ammunitions stowage which would shield the ammo from spalling and would extinguish fires caused by any ammo.
The latter part would be difficult to model but would it be possible to model the former?
    Proposal:
German 7.5 cm Pzgr 39/42 vs the UFP of an M4A3 (2.5 inches sloped at 47 degrees with a 6mm or 12.7mm plate located near the bottom of the simulation to represent the side of the aforementioned bin)

Could you do a simulation similar to your Simulation vs Reality test (ua-cam.com/video/rIpCDoYMQU8/v-deo.html) but make the inside or exit edge of the armor vertical 90 degrees compared to the projectile impact, still keeping the impact edge sloped? IE, the profile of the armor looks like a right triangle with the penetrator impacting the hypotenuse. People keep claiming that APFSDS normalizes against sloped armor, but its my understanding that this is not true and that what they are seeing is adiabatic shear bands creating a path of least resistance which is parallel to the inside edge of the armor plate. It just happens that armor plates typically have inside edges that are parallel to the impact edge. On second thought it might be an even better demonstration of this effect if the inside edge was reverse sloped compared to the outer edge so that the penetrator would actually curve upwards instead of downwards like it did in your original test.

@@dejmianxyzsimulations4174 yeah I just know that in WT the long 88 seems to perforate armor that in real life it would struggle to go through. IIRC I have seen the king tiger regularly punch a shell through the front of the tortoise in Warthunder with the bursting charge intact still somehow.
this is at ranges of like 600 meters in game so its just gaijin doing a terrible job at penetration values and being unwilling to nerf a faction that pays the most in premiums.

@@dominuslogik484 i never succeded at penetrating with a King Tiger. You just biased against a faction.
