That isn’t entirely true. Sometimes a soldier can be brainwashed into hating his enemy, look at a German soldier in WW2. Sometimes his enemy has taken everything from him and he has nothing more to lose and hates his enemy eternally for that, look at a Soviet soldier in WW2. The Eastern Front of WW2 was total war, where each side gave no quarter and expected none from their enemy. It was a total war of annihilation where both sides used all means possible to annihilate their enemy at very high costs.

The sound of the metal resonated on the ground. His hand no longer had the strength to hold his sword, as he was keeping all the strength he had left to stand, in the middle of this field of ruin and desolation. He had ... succeeded? -I did it- He looked around him, stunned, all his enemies defeated, all his allies gone. No one to cheer victory with. There was only one man left, alone, weak, tired, in what used to be a flowery and peaceful meadow before. He had been fighting for so long, alone for so long, he didn’t even know what had happened to get to this point. A powerful chest pain pulled him out of his reflections. He looked at his chest, bloody, and the hole in his left flank that reminded him that he was still alive, at least for now. He looked up at the sky, smiling bitterly.

My 98-year-old great-grandma died early of this year before covid shut everything down and she used to have a stroller to help her walk and I went into her old office a few weeks after she died and I opened her office door and the stroller was right there facing towards the door just like if she was sitting there on it waiting for me to take her to the car just like we used to run errands. Once I saw that I just started bawling my eyes out. That comment just brought all those emotions rushing back.

This is great. These are exactly my thoughts right now. I don't feel right being- basic? I want to be remembered, but not just by family and friends but... By others. Many others. I'm planning on actually starting a channel, if my parents allow me. I wont even earn money until a year later, but I'm happy I'm able to do it. Me and my cousin are gonna have UA-cam channels and stuff, mostly minecraft, but sometimes other games. I hope I can achieve this goal. I'm set on it.
