I've been watching the NBA for a long time now. EVERY time a team wins what was supposed to be a close out game after being down 3-0 this same exact discussion pops up with all of the "what if?" narratives... only for that team to then lose game 5 for the gentleman's sweep 😂. Don't get too hyped Mavs fans and start thinking you now all of a sudden have a chance. It aint happening. Winning 1, 2 or even 3 in a row is certainly possible but they aren't winning 4 especially having to play 2 of the next 3 games in Boston.

Boston rolled over in game 4 because they wanted to win the title at home in front of their own packed house as a thank you to the fans, Boston KNOWS that they can beat the breaks off of Dallas whenever they want to. agree with Chuck, If Mavs win game 5 in Boston, Mavs going to win the series, unless, Porzingis returns, that dude is the only one that could save Celtics.
It could work both ways. He could mess up their chemistry, or he could mess up Dallas' defensive plans. Right now Dallas seems to have to figured out the Celtics offense. Boston is scoring less and less points.

If you think that last nights game cost the Celts the series, even up 3-0 as you stated I have no choice but to come to the conclusion that you lack the ability to see the whole picture. One bad game for the Celts and one good game for a team that was playing harder and trying to prevent a sweep with every thing they could muster does not change what the Celtics are capable of doing and will follow through on to beat the Mavs. Give the credit to the Mavs for playing so well but to be so dismissive of the Celtics at this point shows your bias and the simplicity of your comment.
If my Mavs somehow win game 5 in Boston and there is a Game 6 is in Dallas then we got an interesting series.
With the way they played, I almost feel like they purposely threw this game. It was another team out there. Holiday can't dribble, the "comeback" strategy in the 3rd was to spread and stand there like statues while whoever has the ball tries to draw a double team and kick out?! Yo, it's the Finals and you're down by 30. MOVE YO ASS. NO sense of urgency, NO attempt to make Dallas work too hard on D. Zero effort.

Sorry but it’s gonna be real hard for the Mavs to come back. This isn’t something made up like the Disney Bubble. It’s a real Finals with travel and fans. The fans in Boston will make it very tuff on Kyrie. We’ve seen the problems he’s had in Boston. Back in 2016, Kyrie hit the biggest shot in Cavs history to win a 3-1 comeback in the Finals so he does have experience at this.

This game was a wake up call for both teams in different ways.
For Dallas the wake up call for them is their season isn’t over and they have 3 more games to win to make history. They gotta try to steal one on the road on Monday. If they do things will get very interesting. We know that Kyrie and Luka are gonna get theirs, it’s the role players/their bench that if they’re consistent and doing what they’re supposed to do then Dallas can be dangerous, but that’s gonna be the key for Dallas if they wanna get back in the series, are the roles players gonna show up and step up and be ready to play.
For Boston the wake up call is they didn’t show up ready to play, they knew that Dallas was gonna try to play super aggressive cause they was in desperate mode especially cause they’re at home, they prolly didn’t take it serious cause they was up 3-0, now they’re up 3-1 when they could’ve gotten the sweep last night and they literally have 1 more game to win. It’s not like the series is 2-2 going into game 5. They got outplayed from start to finish and they played like they didn’t want it. Celtics need to understand that they now have given Dallas momentum and belief that they can get back in this series. With this ass whipping they need to realize that Dallas ain’t a team they can mess around with and they have to be locked in. Just cause they’ll be at home and in front of the home crowd and the crowd is gonna go crazy that doesn’t mean they can play relaxed cause they’ll get their ass kicked again. So for them their wake up call is these next 2 days they better watch film, get locked in , and try to close it out at home on Monday cause if Dallas steals game 5 to return home for game 6, Boston may be in big trouble.

No one ever gets swept in the finals if anything can be done about it. It’s all about the money. The NBA and hosting teams make a little more money and in return I made a little more money thanks to analytics.
On another note: Guess what happens when to many people get smart and bet enough to break the casions bank money? They call it off and allow the sweep. That’s why it only happens once in a blue moon.
