Aww I love that Stacy! Thank you for loving my little game as much as I do. You're right - I am slowly making my way to 1000 (strong emphasis on slowly hehe). Who knows maybe I'll actually make it before the end of the year!
This was so much fun!! I feel like your husband bought ALL of us a present with that countdown clock 😂 I’ve got my fingers crossed that we get another bingo maze video this month 🤞 Also, I thought of a punishment for hitting dead ends. Maybe after hitting two or three dead ends you have to do the next prompt twice. Or a nicer punishment would be you lose five minutes for every dead end you hit.
Hi Cassie! Isn't that clock awesome?! I set up the game for Round 5 this afternoon and plan to start playing tonight or tomorrow afternoon, just have to make sure all of my little duckies are lined up nice & pretty before I begin. If all goes to plan, the video will go up before Halloween. Cross your fingers for me! Great minds think alike! I've been toying with adding time penalties for the dead ends and brainstorming options for gaining extra time. Gotta at least have a chance against those bad arrows during Phase 3 after all!
It really is and I definitely need all the help I can get. hehe Finding the time to read lately has felt like a mission impossible. I lucked out; didn't I? All 4 books were incredible!
I hope you manage to get to Tag, You're Dead this month. I had so much fun with it and it was a quick, easy read. If/when you do read it, I'd love to know if you liked it half as much as I did.
I agree. I haven't read a Darcy Coates book that I haven't loved, yet. I just love her writing. He knocked it out of the park with that countdown timer; didn't he? 😀
Yay! I'm glad I was able to surprise you with it. (btw I have the game all set up & plan to start another round tonight or tomorrow with the intention of the video going up before Halloween. Here's hoping I can actually pull it off!)
You'll have to let me know what you thought of it once you get the chance to read it. Oddly enough I found it hauntingly beautiful by the end. It even get me a little misty-eyed. I have a feeling it's going to be a book that sticks with me.
You really should! Hidden Pictures was so much fun and would be perfect any time of the year, so there's no need to wait for Spooky Season if you don't get to it this year.
Thanks for chiming in Jane. I was considering partial turns as well. I'll definitely keep this in my back pocket as an option! One of my favorite things about this game is tweaking the rules a bit with each new round.
I just looked up this book and am fighting the urge to run to Barnes & Noble right now to get a copy. I'm definitely grabbing a copy sooner rather than later. It sounds perfectly scary! Thanks so much for recommending it!! Have you read the Haunting of Leigh Harker by her?
Bingo Maze is always an immediate click for me! Also I can’t help but notice how close you’re creeping up to 1000 subscribers!

I am glad you enjoyed Tag You're Dead as it's still on my TBR. 🤣

Oh that was such a thoughtful gift from your husband. I love it 😊
Me too! It worked out so much better than I imagined. It even made editing easier, since I didn't have to make all the graphics for the timestamps.
All of darcy are good!!!! Great job on a birthday gift!!

Hidden Pictures is also one I want to read.

Maybe change all dead ends a quarter turn- or one a quarter one a half and one a whole

Read the Haunting of Ashburn house by Darcy Coates
I found it on Goodreads
