you probably wont see this bc it was so long ago but some characters have multiple pronunciations, like "得" - de, děi or dé", "了- le, or liǎo", and "着 zhe, zháo, zhuó or zhāo" :')
I have a hard time to figure out if the 'y' is pronounced in yi qian, yi hou and other yi words. Could you please explain when you have a chance. Thank you.

Lao zhie got the perfect method, best is learn by Chinese structure, not Eng. structure, others videos doesn't make sense. This one is the BEST.

1. 以后 doesn't have to be used with 马上.
2. "当我做饭的时候" means "when I cook", but 当 is optional. When we speak, we normally don't say 当.
