God, even the people in this comment section are defending this dude. One it doesn’t matter if what her age was as long as she was under age, he should not have been talking inappropriately with her. Second thing if you are in your mid-30s and you cannot tell if someone is under age or not that’s a good sign that you probably shouldn’t be interacting with them, especially in an inappropriate manner. Third thing this interaction may not have ended up with him committing any crimes change the fact that he shouldn’t have even been in the position to be questioned about committing crimes. Fourth thing it doesn’t matter if the girl was the first one to send inappropriate conversations the moment doc responded with one of his own he was in the wrong. He should step back as quickly quickly as he could. it’s obvious he didn’t because he wouldn’t be getting dropped by everyone. Now onto the people that are trying to make this about twitch is whisper product. US law enforcement and government are known to work with these companies to get your private information.

Its a terrible situation that he put himself in. Outside of admitting to "leaning inappropriate" conversations with a minor. The fact he clarified there were not pictures sent or no actual meet-up happened is damaging. It is definitely not what i would have said to defend myself. Until we see chat logs, we can only assume the level of inappropriate, but that clarification sets up that the conversations weren't something you should be saying to a minor.
Was anyone really surprised by this? The man cheated on his wife once that we know about....is it really a shocker that he was talking to just 1 under age girl? He probably had multiple conversations with multiple under age girls. I'm not surprised at all. People don't change who they really are.

This unexpected development in the Dr. Disrespect story coincidently collides with a recent embarrassing incident that my wife and I experienced. My wife told me that she thought a young lady was attractive and encouraged me to give her a written note, informing her that we believe in polygyny, and inviting her to be our girlfriend. My wife stated that she had recently seen the young woman dressed in extremely skimpy shorts, and she thought the woman looked attractive. I gave the woman the note when we saw her again at a shopping center. I was later informed by store managers that I had to leave the marketplace because I had "communicated inappropriately with a minor." I was shocked, embarrassed and livid. "What minor? What are you talking about," I demanded. As it turns out, the young woman was 17. I never imagined that someone under 18 would even be working in the marketplace. Secondly, had I known she was under 18, I would have never approached her. Thirdly, although it was an embarrassing mistake, in the state I live in the age of consent is 16. So, technically speaking, my wife and I were asked to leave the store for "lawfully flirting with someone under the age of 18 in a state of the USA in which such a thing is perfectly legal."
So, I'm curious how old the person was that Dr. Disrespect was communicating with?
People are quick to throw around the P word, but most people don't even know the definition of the word. The masses love a good witch hunt, as much as they love the drama of a celebrity's dirty laundry being exposed for all to see. It's also interesting that people exalt biblical figures who married girls at a very young age, but they use the word "predator" or the other P word for anyone that would do such a thing today.
If Dr. Disrespect deserves to be labeled something monstrous then put forth the evidence. Perhaps the evidence has already been put forth, but I wouldn't know. I've watched a total of about 5 minutes on this subject...because thus far this smells like nothing more than a typical internet witch hunt. I could be wrong, because I too would hate to think that Dr. Disrespect is a foul person.

I don’t know the people involved or the details. However, one thing that seems not to get attention: kids in teenage years start to have intimate thoughts and they need to learn how to deal with those. Kids should be safe to learn how to become an adult, so they absolutely need to be protected from any inappropriate initiatives/escalation/continuation from adults (they absolutely do not need adults in that way to learn. no matter what they say or do). The kids should be safe, but they should not be pushed in a space where they struggle internally with how to deal with sexuality. The sentiment that is portrayed in this video, might lead to an overreaction from adults when a kid does something inappropriate in this space. In the end I think it it should be about healthy communication where the safety of the kid comes first.
I’m no expert in this field, but I think most people who speak up are not. I don’t think an environment where people are too quick to judge is healthy. Rather the focus should be how kids can be kept save, because the bad guys would try to find a way around the rest anyway.
I hope that made sense, since it’s a sensitive subject.

I would assume that he knew it was a minor or else how would twitch have known? If the account is 18+ because of the age restriction of the website and twitch took action based of what was said in the dms I would take that as she told him they continued and well they took action.
