I would imagine that Max still has the sub shop but that he made several shops in different states like (Jimmy John’s, Subway,etc) & became a multi-millionaire.
Selena isn’t giving Alex at all and this just seems like a cash grab. It won’t be long before Disney Channel is no more.
I think each show deserves the chance to make a profit, the whole reason people take chances in business. They are putting a lot of people to work a good job. Selena, along with the rest of the cast and the producers, directors, and everyone involved a chance to get started or continue a successful career going. Selena doesn't need this reboot series, but Selena loved the show, the characters and Selena loved being Slex Russo. 106 episodes over 4 years and I believe 2 movies came from the series. Although Selena's presence on the reboot will be limited, Selena will still be involved as one of the Executive Producers. I hope the series works out successfully. It would be great for new people and the established persons.

Not bad kinda like a take off on Ravens Home. I kinda wish that this wouldve continued as the original title but as the next phase perhaps Alex, Justin, and Max having their own jobs this time and of course defeating enemies along with Harper featured as well
Wizards Of Waverly Place was very popular when we were kids
Maybe Disney Channel will finally start improving again. Hopefully Austin and Ally will be the next Disney Channel show to get a revival show.

If Disney ever did do a revival of Austin & Ally, and I had to guess exactly what year that would be, I would probably have to say: 2027 at the absolute earliest, and 2028 at the absolute latest.

I think the Wizards should be honest and open about who they are in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, just like Booker being honest and open about who he was in Raven's Home.

That’s not even really Disneys fault, more so UA-cams fault because back in 2020 Coppa Laws basically forced all kid related networks to turn off their comments for child safety or else UA-cam would be sued

I was so happy to hear that this was coming out but I wish it wasn't on disney channel because it'd feel more authentic of it was focused on them as adults. And if it has to be on disney channel, that they just keep them older like in Sabrina.

I hope they fix that plot hole too. I'd be fine if the oldest son ended up marrying a mortal (lady at 1:26, not harper btw, but just looks like her. Maybe it's harper's cousin?) after the vampire lady...ahem...graveyard...for some reason, and then he takes over his dad's subway shop after he loses his powers.
He then loses his powers after he marries his wife and they have a son, the boy with the dino tshirt at 0:29 (Who also has a human boy bff/ neighbor, the boy in the checkered shirt. Which seems like it, with the trailer), and then an orphan wizard girl shows up, and they adopt her too because she has no family and no one to train her for wizard school.
Then selena's character, Alex, comes and helps raise the orphan girl, cause she takes a liking to her, cause she is just like her when she was young. (Alex is still a wizard with her werewolf bf. He's been trying for yearsssss to get her to say "yes" to his marriage proposal, but she is always like "nah :p seeya babe" (poof))
Harper also either marries a wizard man or a human guy and has a baby.
The parents, now grandparents, go on vacation whenever they can. They stop by whenever they go home.
Max then, yes, got the wizard powers the oldest had and is now running the wizarding school....yikes....which explains why he sent the orphan kid to the russos cause he has no clue what to do about anything lol. (thankfully he has a wizard assistant lady who has a majorrrr crush on him btw, who helps him with EVERYTHING, cause he would be lost lolll) OR Selena is the wizard headmaster and Max is off on vacation in fiji lol.
^this is just what i hope the story is like, not that it is actually this.
Crums already gave his magic to Justin, so he must have given it to his brother.
I HEARD THAT JUSTIN LOST HIS MAGIC POWERS DUE TO AN ACCIDENT AT WIZTECH AND NO HES TEACHING THE YOUTH. THATS PROB WHY HE DIDNT USE IT IN THIS TRAILER

This show is meant for Disney Plus.
Disney shows back then we're made for the whole family to enjoy. Now, they're made just for kids, and saying that feels like an insult. They imagine kids are these brainless bodies that need everything to be dum*ed down or else they won't understand. Always tiptoeing around words and topics, and the insane, unrealistic cgi that is way overused. I had hopes for this show since David has been hyping it up, but seeing these clips really turns me off. I don't feel like I'm watching real people. I feel like I'm watching actors who don't know how to act well, so every scene comes off as fake. The OG WOWP had cgi too, but the camerawork felt like a documentary. It felt like I was there watching real people with magical powers, and that made it easier to belive that magic could exist in real life. But this new show doesn't feel magical at all. It feels that one show I never watched until Alex Meyers posted a video on it.. the Thunderman's or something. The sequel was terrible all around. Bad acting, cgi, camerawork.. I wish Disney could be authentic with their shows. Characters are supposed to be fun and unique, but at least make them feel relatable. They're still people like us.
From what I read, Justin has 2 sons and is married and Alex brings this kid to help her get training from Justin so basically it’s just for kids lol
The iCarly reboot was for the people who are in their early 20s who watched it as kids. The Wizards spin-off is for the new generation of kids

It is odd they are not allowing comments on thier official video, but you know, I am not sure what to make of this. It feels like a magical version of Raven's Home. Okay...so they have the producers from the show, but somehow, the two shows have combined. I am not sure how to feel about this.
same here. I wasn't expecting much from this show anyways since I know that Selena isn't going to be in it. But this doesn't even look like WOWP. It looks like Raven's home having a crossover episode with Alex and Justin. The entire humour screams the Raven brand, which was very into physical comedy. Wizards centred more around sarcasm and witty remarks.
@@RSH554 I am glad that I am not the only one to notice. Justin wouldn't return until he had creative control and he claimed to do it better, but I don't know. His other three movies went bad and this is just...well just have to see.

He's the same person who wrote the worst episode in WOWP, Alex's logo🤣If that's why he came back, this is a sure shot disaster 🤣🤣🤣 So thanks for the heads up, can happily avoid this now 😅
@@RSH554 Oh yeah, I found out a lot about him recently. Since the show ended, he hadn't spoken to anyone, because was holding a grudge towards everyone and was jealous that he wasn't the main star. One of the reasons why he didn't return for the movie sequels. Selena been trying to get this going since 2019, until he was given the reigns, then he forced out all the people who did wizards and made the show all about him. From what I heard, he threw people off set for not agreeing with him. He is quite a toerag and I didn't know he did Alex Logo, not a bad episode. Yeah.. he wants to be the star now
I agree completely, Wizards is such a unique show in terms of humor, it NEEDS the original writers. And I feel like there is no true vision behind this series, David might've just wanted to continue it with him as the star. Justin is not entertaining enough to lead this by himself, he's not Raven, we won't watch simply for him. I wish we had Jake T Austin/Max coming back and leading this series with him

Allegedly, Alex drops her off in the first episode. (which makes me think she is now the new headmaster and justin lost his powers somehow).
Also, apparently Selena won't be in the show full time, only for cameos every now and again (because she is busy and famous , most likely).
The show mostly centers around Justin and his wizard family (wife and son??), the son's best friend, and the new wizard girl.
The guy who played the dad in the original series is, allegedly, apparently joining the show every now and then, not sure about harper's actress but I remember her saying in an interview that she would love to join the sequel. (I wonder if she couldn't because she was currently busy acting in something else??)
Not sure about max's actor or the mom. (they might both be busy)

Like when I was a kid , the main characters looked at least 15 to 19 and it was a demographic I can relate even though I was a kid but still they touched on fun yet serious and interesting topics but now since they are just children actors , the jokes seem corny and cringey .....

You might say I should be happy Wizards of Waverly Place is getting a sequel series but then I have to think about the condition of the show getting picked up by not including adult themes in the way the Lizzie McGuire revival might’ve. And it lowkey pisses me off.
Yes, I’m happy we’re getting this show but at what cost? Part of the reasons I loved the show was for the lore AND the edgy humor. And I’ve had my own storyline ideas involving some of my favorite artifacts from the show like the Emotoscope or the abracadoodler or the Wizinko copy machine and pretty much all of them are PG-13 rated. It’s even more frustrating because there’s already not many good adult fantasy sitcoms and not just animated.
I’d love it if Wizards Beyond Waverly Place kept up with the edgy jokes. For instance, Alex telling Justin’s family embarrassing stories about the things he’s done with magic like using the Wizinko Copy Machine to bring Wiztogram models to life and Justin cutting her off before she could finish. Or Justin telling his kids not to use the Emotoscope around older, hormonal teenagers. Maybe it’a a me thing but I feel like the humor of modern kidcoms aren’t as risqué as they were in the past and it’s only gotten more noticeable with the sequel shows like Raven’s Home. The Villains of Valley View has had edgy jokes and damn it, I miss that show. It’s still in limbo for now and I hope it continues in some form.

Having a revival of "Wizards of Waverly Place" tells me that Disney Channel like Disney movies nowadays have run out of ideas. Nevertheless, when they revived "That's so Raven", it was great. They had one of Raven's kids become psychic and had him keep it a secret from her. It was really cool. This one will not bring anything new from what I am seeing.

This looks promising. The only thing is I wish they would’ve named the main New girl character something different. It seems like they’re stealing from the original charmed since pages protégé was named Billy too. Other than that, it looks like it may actually be good. I watched the original here and there And I enjoyed it all right. I hope this series has audio description since I had most my vision taken away 10 years ago.
