2020 Virtual Halloween in Japantown | San Jose Taiko

In 2003, we hosted the very first Halloween in Japantown event as a way to provide families a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween in San Jose Japantown. Back then, there were 6 businesses involved and a few dozen trick-or-treaters. But the last several years, we've closed the streets of Japantown with dozens of businesses and organizations participating and hundreds of families celebrating with us. Due to COVID-19, we aren't able to celebrate in person, but in the spirit of Halloween in Japantown - wanting to provide safe, fun entertainment for families to celebrate Halloween together, we present our 2020 Virtual Halloween in Japantown.

Way to go, SJT! Only you guys can make cardboard boxes, plastic buckets, tin cans and pot and pans sound amazing! Yurika - so good (and funny) in Sore Samba, and nice use of the bag of chips/crackers in Matsuri Taiko! Fun performances from all of the SJT groups!
