It was good to see you usual self back. That's the Lis we knew on Delos: down to earth. Although, I am concerned about the number of leaks that are behind the brand new materials. Those will rot and take on mold in no time returning stress to your life. Please water test every inch of the boat including the roof. I'd hate to see you nice wood water stained and rotting. You deserve a well sealed homey place for yourself and Leela.
I'm so excited to see you properly do a boat. Top to bottom. You deserve a well put together boat that u can live on and enjoy, travel, write and do whatever you dam well please.
Liz, been with you since the Delos days, you are doing a great job with this and I look forward to you getting out on the canal. I think this has been good for you and I wish you all the luck in the future.
My dearest Liz. I can only imagine the anticipation to complete your boat/home. You are working full time, doing your painting and writing, and remodeling your canal boat? You're starting to sound like me. Haha! Down time to rest? What's that? No rest for the wicked they say. As always you have my support sweetie and I'm proud of all the nonstop hard work you are putting into everything you do! Keep it up dear! Mwaaaahhhh!!!!!!
Happy, happy days to you! Please do mind the leaks...getting them all sorted out quickly, so new permanent damage is not caused. All the best, and hugs to you as usual, Mick
Your looking lovely Liz ;)...all the very best with your deadline...suggest you seal those windows from the outside, you would not want any water running down under the windows inside the wall...i think you will have an amazing lifestyle when your boat is finished.
good to see your progress on the boat. I looked at a boat at that yard last year but I think it's gone now. I spoke to the guy in your vid and he gave me a tour of the yard and said I could do the boat up there. really nice fella. I've since bought a grp boat this year near rugby and have refitted it out. its been a great project but i had trouble with my windows leaking too, all sorted now. good luck with your project
Hi guys.your narrowboat refurbish is looking lovely, you have a lot of work ahead of you,how long is your narrowboat from front to back, I'm very interested to know, stay safe, Tony ⛴
@@EarleWrites One of the coolest things about canal boats is their color schemes. (Unlike sea going yachts that are usually boring white...) I've been an admirer of your artwork ever since you joined the crew on Delos and I have no doubt that your canal boat will be outstanding. (Just avoid rainbows and unicorns...)
We're having the two windows sealed now. Think it will be better for privacy, insulation and storage. Until then, they're covered until we figure it out. Failing that, we need to get new seals. I haven't decided yet. But I need to move on in 3 weeks, so trying to get her as habitable as possible before move in.
Hope you do electrical before you go any further. Also you might want to talk Jono from you tube channel Journey With Jono for a consultation. He’s got solar, battery, and everything Victron dialed in for narrowboats.
Hey liz! Have to say watching these update videos fills my heart with joy! I can see that your a lot less stressed than you were on papageno :P also do you watch High Rollers, a DnD stream, the music you use reminds me of that stream! :)
Why didn’t you just replace the windows. From what I could see they were still leaking even after sealing them. The wood was still wet. Water and wood don’t mix. In fact when you mix water and wood you get mold and rot! This can make you and the dog sick. Hope it’s sorted before you move on the boat full time. As you all get a lot of rain in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 to say the least the boat MUST be water tight! I love your VLOGS I think you are amazing! I have been watching your VLOGS since the start of your current project. I sincerely wish you all the best as you get started on your journey on the Canal Network on your little boat! What’s her name by the way? Mark From Colorado! USA 🇺🇸
Hey Marc! I think we're going to seal two windows completely to give more privacy, better warmth and more storage space. We're still in discussions, but until we get them sorted, they've been completely covered up! Thank you so much for the love. I move in in 3 weeks! Arghhh! So exciting! But still SO MUCH to do!
Lis please make sure you soughed the leeks you have , if not the mould will make you ill and the smell will be so bad you will lose faith in the boat , I have been marine engineer for 40 years , sorry to say all this ,John
Elizabeth I know you from your Delos days. Just found your channel recently. I Love what your doing! But I am curious, are you still with the French fella I believe?

I am glad to see your progress. You are doing a great job. Remember, there is nothing quite as wonderful as simply messing about with boats.
You're doing a great job. Keep it up.
Great episode... with lots of interesting layers yet to unfold. Thanks & Blessings! TN
Yes...you look gloriously happy!
Good luck with the boat. Sounds like a great adventure!
Thumbs UP!!!!..Great job. Can't wait till you move in. By the way you are looking good and back to your old self. Take care.

Your happiness is showing! You look marvelous and your boat does too! So exciting! Could you do a murphy type bed?
I wish you would solve the leaking windows problem before you put the insulation and panelling..

Lizbef.... You are VERY cute in your glasses.
Have you decided on an exterior color scheme yet? Perhaps a contest? The interior is coming along nicely! Well done!
Haven't decided just yet! I'm thinking black with gold trim! Or dark blue- or purple- or green! Wah! x

Your eyes are so beautiful. They seem to stand out in this one. The boat looks nice too! : )
At the beginning that tape is called, (here in the US) HVAC tape, and also aluminum foil tape.
In Canada, at least where I am, that is called "Newfie Chrome"
@@markbernier8434 Bwahahaha! You just made my night. I was thinking the exact same thing!
I know this is old but can I ask what cladding yo used?
Liz: I t is critical to replace all your windows with a double pane first!!!!! The interior will become consumed with mold real soon. Barney

Nice one Liz!
That tape i use in mild bondage games.
Gosh you was lookin pretty today.
Specially with the 👓. Steamy.
I thought you were going to seal windows first. 💡.

Urgently trying to get an electrician! Wah!
EarleWrites that’s good because you want to get electrics done before you have wall panels secured
Good luck! Keep up the good work.
Luv ya....mean it!!!
Liz, a favor to ask, could you do a couple of boat tours of some of you neighbors? We’d love to see..
Absolutely! They'd love that! I'll be down there on Monday to do more filming- we're having our Christmas Boat Yard Do tomorrow! Yay!
Progress ....Good....!

I have sent a long email to your Facebook page regarding Woodstoves. :)
You could make the bed slide under the bow !!🤔🤷🏻♂️
i love you
Luv u too 😍

A home for 10K quid, no wonder you are chuffed. Round here on land an average house is pushing 800,000 quid.
Elizabeth I know you from your Delos days. Just found your channel recently. I Love what your doing! But I am curious, are you still with the French fella I believe?
Nope. Gone about a year or more.
Who. He wasn't a boat builder. He was sail and service.
Ok. Cool. Thank you. I look forward to following along.
Fix your leaks before u go any further ….
please, no music while you are talking.. it makes it too difficult to hear you
