Gotcha! the movie starred Anthony Edwards (E.R., Goose in Top Gun) as a college kid who gets involved in cold war intrigue. The film involves a version of the popular college game 'Assassin' where students attempt to take each other out via paintball guns, Nerf guns, and the like. The actors used the Gotcha!' guns which were provided as product placement. This game is part of that same toy brand and the guns used little plastic paint capsules for ammo. I had one of these guns and while they looked cool the ammo was very delicate and often broke open before you could even put them in the gun. Lazer Tag and Photon were pretty much based on Assassin! as well. All these years later I still remember the stupidest line in the movie. He's trying to fake French when hitting on a girl and he says 'Mon crayon es large'. I don't know why that's stuck with me for so long as the movie was pretty forgettable.
I love the video set up you have. I see you, the game capture, but also the real life gameplay of you aiming at the screen. All important to see, no clutter. Nice!
Thanks! I thought it was a cool setup too since I am using a crt and the light gun angle is close to a first person view. The NES games being 4:3 (or less because some of the screen is just blank colors sometimes) I try to find ways to fill up the widescreen of UA-cam. I just recently remembered I have two of the exact same camcorders.
