D1 - Warm-up: Scalars and functions

The first two weeks were meant as a warm-up, providing perhaps new viewpoints to those who knew and an option to recover for those who did not.
In the very first video, we deal with functions -- how to see and define them, including comments on difference equations and a simple logistic model of COVID-19 spread.
