Functional bending is also extremely important for smooth legato. E.g. it is impossible to play F#-G without small rest, however you can bend G to F# and play it 100% smooth.
Ein gutes Video. Spiele viel und gern, jedoch habe ich mit tong blocking meine Probleme. Leider, wünschte es wäre anders. Tolle Videos von dir. Immer sehr gut verstehen. Danke. Viele liebe Grüße Manuel
suppose im playing harmonica.. then how do i know to differentiate the notes like we differentiate in guitar by chords in the progression? it seems really complex to identify where we are going to blow and where we draw for the single note or any note. isnt there any technique to identify the notes and their formation into like a chord?
Why speak in broken English when you can clearly speak in your mother tongue? The speech and the quality of the video would've been much better had it been delivered in a language you know. We can always read subtitles.
Is this the Asian superiority I've been hearing about? The only thing "broken" with his English is his accent and even that is PERFECTLY fine. Everything else is perfect. From his grammar to his sentences. They want to reach a wide audience and you that by speaking in a language most people can understand.
Your English doesn't matter. What is really important is that you want to teach this wonderful instrument to everyone. The Asian continent has a lot of talent to teach, interpret and share. The barrier is the language. It is a great merit that the teacher makes this effort. I wish we had more of this quality. To the teacher, my thanks and congratulations!
The Tenuto is a game changer Cy.. also really like the beginning jazz theme
loving the series. Great work. The prodction quality is amazing.

How do you play legato so well when jumping holes? My attempts sound like a dog's breakfast.
Hi. What harmonica do you use for the demonstration please? Thanks.
Thank you very much for sharing.
hi Cy how do you achieve legato between a blow and draw note ?
Minimise the space between both notes to achieve a continuous effect
suppose im playing harmonica..

''1'' = blow on hole one ''-1'' = draw on hole one :) Harmonica tabs are some of the easiest to understand for me.
You must know the configuration e notes position of you Harmonica.
Ex. first hole blow C, fisrt hole draw D.....
If you don't blow you suck.. Lol sorry bro ..I couldn't resist! Turn over think it.dot.Just have fun Eat nutritious food And keep your pecker up !

I don't think he speaks 'broken English ' . He speaks English fluently. As fluently as he plays the harmonica.
