Bought this a couple weeks ago. Never was aware of this principle before. When first received, the Tutorial was too difficult for me to understand with the dubbing in English-- But I see now Ellusionist has made it much easier to understand -- Look forward to going out and doing this now. Been some amazing releases they've had past few months, all of which I am thrilled with-- Christian's Thought of Card to Pocket , JM's Vanish, Pitata Memo Pad, and now this-- all amazing and have been using them in my performances. I've found myself doing Christian Grace's Thought of Card to Pocket effect without the gaffed cards-- But both ways are great.

SOOOOO glad that rang true for you! This is seriously one of the most killer pieces ever and not just for what it's being used for, right? This has sooooo much impact, reality, and potential that you can literally sculpt someone's reality with it as the catalyst.
Interesting that the pencil you use is round. In the tutorial Juan said if the pencil isn't hexagonal, it won't work. Also... are we not gonna talk about your door at 9:40 ?

You can find Jerome Finley's stuff in his books (no idea where they are available now) and the OG version is Orville Meyer, which I think you can find on Lybrary.com. Sorry I can't be more help, but it's definitely worth the search!
Just got this….presentation!!! I do this at a school where pencils are all over…plant one along outside …organic!!!
Glad to hear you're excited! The style of pencil is very common in the wild and it's soooooo easy to EDC that you may not need to even "plant" them ;)

Is there actual some animal magnetism or conduction at play here? or is it simply the illusion of magnetism through the balancing act of using the right amount of upward pressure with the movements as described to create downward pressure into the pencil causing it to softly impact the hand, surface, etc..without the spectator noticing the downward pressure?
No, of course. The method isn’t important, it’s all about the effect.

In looking up the pencils you held up I noticed they have erasers which he said does not work. They still work? Does the point still have to be sharpened. My kid busted me btw😂

It's very convincing for those you perform it for and it delivers a strong effect.
This has already been released in a book called the jinx. That being said it’s still a great effect and can’t help but love Juan. Been practicing and having a ball with it.
I'm well aware of the Jinx, but sadly haven't started dissecting it yet! Glad you're loving it, Juan really added a lot to it in my opinion.
