Their CEDs are also different. Donny's (beautiful) goes for the gradual climb low, low high. Lee has done it that way. He just prefers the more dramatic low high higher power power. The best ever person to play Joseph is Richard Swerrun both for his stage presence and voice. The worst ever person to play the title role is Craig Chalmers he got terrible voice and cant hit the high notes and no stage presence atall. Many people have played Joseph over the years from the London production to the UK Bill Kenwright tour including Mike Holloway, Jess Conrad, Graeme Smith,Andrew Derbyshire, James Earl Adair, H from Steps, Jason Donovan, Philip Schofiled, Darren Day, Gareth Gates, Keith Jack, Arvid Larsen, Lee Mead, Donny Osmond etc etc but the best Joseph out of them all is Richard Swerrun.
Lee Mead was the perfect choice for Joseph. He has the personality and the voice to fill the shoes of Joseph on stage. Love this video!!
