@@jeffwayne3054 after 20 mins you are smoked physically....alot different than a 60 second skydive. It's a full body workout. I know Yves, Vince, and Fred personally.

Man!!! As an armature photographer, videographer, and full time aircraft mechanic this short film really got my blood flowing. What an amazing story. 👍🏻
I've been following Yves' exploits for at least 15 years and I'm just amazed that he and his friends are still the only ones doing this, at least that I'm aware of. If I were younger and had the money to do it this would be my idea of the perfect sport. Now I can only watch and be amazed by something so exciting, incredible and at the same time beautiful as these humans carving the skies.
@@trading7000 The first two videos are the same...also, none of them are as high, nor as fast, nor allows such close contact with the sky. You can literally touch the sky in this. The others seem kind of behind.

Flying like a bird alone sky high was man's best dream. This guy has made solo flying a reality for thrill seekers. hopefully they are fully trained and follow all safety procedures. would love to watch this man's achievement on camera.
Paragliders, Powered Paragliders, Hanggliders, Powered Hanggliders, Ultralight Aircraft etc, etc, etc... all made for 'solo flying'.

You can start skydiving on your own now. You're allowed the year you turn 16. So if you're 15 and turning 16 this year you can, if not you can start next year with AFF course. Between 1000 and 1500$ should be enough to cover the course. Gear is 2500 to 5000 depending if you want brand new or old (but still good) stuff.
They started Skydiving around your age....

We can't go horizontally upwards.
@@afarzafar753 Yeah you can, i do it every time i jump my wingsuit, google squirrel wingsuit flare :) if you mean continue to climb after the flare then you are correct, you need thrust. but we can climb a bit, around 300 ft for some of the best jumpers.

When a plane suffers a bird strike its causes a lot of damage, when the human head suffers one ...........the day we could do the slow bush pilots version - super CUB style would be awsome !

Bunny Wrong. Being a skydiver myself this all depends when a malfunction happens. In a full dive close to the ground sure you'd have little time but these guys fly at a certain altitude AND, this is important, they are mostly no where near terminal (vertical) velocity which means compared to a skydiver dropping full blast downward they'd have comparable more time to solve any malfunction or pull their chute (or reserve if that fails, yep they are carrying two).
this is why I love dubai
they are embracing the technology, while other country just stuck on old ways
I know sometimes in future we will eventually go with full autonomous and tech, and thats one on what I hate in my life cuz I was born when this was still impossible..

jet man is one cool dude. he has two things left to do. lower the noise, and figure out how to take off from the ground. a difficult task, but if he lives long enough, he will accomplish both.

YVES ROSSY is my ideal, I have not a single opportunity to meet him if I get any chance to meet him I will never ever miss it. To become jetman is aim of my whole life. Lot of respect to YVES ROOSY
