In my own research, I have found that yes, it is okay to use. I have read that it can attack lubricants, so be sure to relubricate anything that comes in contact with the cleaner. I would advise you do some research for yourself, though.

The only thing I have available locally is CRC "QR Electronic cleaner" -- is that ok to use in place of electric contact cleaner?
