Beautiful truck. I didn’t realize anyway had a 4” lift for the factory air ride. Nice work guys.
I’m learning a lot from your videos! 2019 Ram Limited owner. Keep em coming!
Thanks!
Very cool that your doing all theses things to your Ram! I will be following your footsteps due to your great detail. Next the 33 gallon tank !
Dont know if you guys gives a damn but if you are stoned like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother lately :)
@Remy Alvin Yup, I have been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
4” lifts are the only way to go!!!
Very nice. Just picked up the exact one the other day. Traded my 2019 1500 Hemi in for the Ecodiesel. So glad I did. WAY better fuel mileage and I love the ramboxes and new tailgate. I'd like to lift it but maybe a 2" instead of the 4" just to give it a little higher ride. I too live in TX over in Austin but get to Houston all the time for work, well normally I do when we don't have Covid-19 to worry about.
Check out my leveling video for 1500.. I really would have liked a 3” but the bds didn’t change the ride at all.. 2000 miles on mine now and no issues
@@RockyRohde I've also been looking at your videos and appreciate the in depth details. I"m looking at getting a barely used 2019 ram limited with 4"bds lift and 35x12.50 tires. So comparison wise how much did it affect the ride and noise level compared to factory.
Would BDS still cover you since technically the only 4" kit they have for Air Ride is 2019 and they even said it's not technically compatible with EcoDiesel (just cause they hadn't brought in this specific model to test on). I have your exact truck so I'd like to get this kit.
Did you ever find out the answer to this question. I'm in the same boat
Oh yah. Love the Chrome. That’s one bad ass truck
omg yes! it looks amazing! I just got a 2020 limited black appearance and was wondering if there was a suspension kit for the air ride yet! thanks chief!!!!!
No prob.. thanks for watching
Rocky , came out nice. Do a video at the different levels ofr normal aero and entry exit . I need measurements on entry level. Thanks. Also needed the part number of 33 gallons fuel tanks and what is needed
I’ll get it done.. checked on fuel tank today and waiting on fuel lines. They had to pull lines of assembly at plant. Did pedal commander today will post a video soon
Thanks
@@RockyRohde Awesome, been thinking about the pedal commander too.
How much was labor cost for the lift ?
Hope that ecodiesel works out for you
How are you still liking the lift?
I spoke with BDS and they said BDS has not yet designed a lift kit for the all new 2019/2020 RAM 1500 Limited with Air Suspension. I spoke with Outlaw Off Road of Texas and they said the BDS kit used in this video is 1641H designed for the 2019 RAM 1500 with Air Suspension. Please explain. Thank you.
Something about front driveline. I used it and it worked. Front driveline may fail for some reason.
Looks great! If I may ask, how much did you pay for all (Just the suspension and installation labor)?
be nice if someone would do an install video; about to reorder this kit soon and do it at home 🤪
Hey Rocky, I believe you no longer have this truck, but was wondering if you recall your air suspension working much harder after it was lifted. Also, wondering if the rear of the truck would adjust/lower about two inches when off?
Install the daystar bag spacers it will be the same as stock.. just doing links pushes the bags to more inflation..
Great bds makes theses lifts but don’t like having to run 20 inch rims, lift kits it’s made for off road but 20’’ rims are not.
hey can you give me a part # for this kit I'm trying to get one for me 2020 1500 limited aswell but bds said they dont have
Just order for 2019 it’s the same
So are you saying that with that 4 inch lift you can still raise and lower the truck with the air bags
Yes all modes work with 4” lift
I have a 2020 limited non off road package with the 22'' factory wheels. Wondering how much lower would it be compared to yours as it has the off road package assuming I went with 35 12.50 22 with the BDS 4"
Is it compatible with the 2019 rebel air ride compatible? Looks great tho guys!
Yes
Rocky, how does it ride after the lift? Does it drive well on the highway? Alignment or tire wear any problem?
Everything was good. It was a little stiff from the nittos but lift didn’t change it much.
BDS claims they do not make a lift for a 2020 ram with air suspension. I just bought a new 2020 limited and wanted to install the BDS lift. Is this truck a 2020 or is it a 2019? Ram and BDS claim the frame changed in 2020 and the 2019 lift will not work per the BDS salesman.
Probably why they had to make a "minor" modification to a bracket.
does your adaptive cruise control still work with the lift?
Yes!! No problems
I was wondering if it still fit in your garage after you lifted it .
How does this compare to the Carli lift and does BDS have lift for 2020 3500 Ram with air suspension ? I couldn't find anything online. Thanks for your information , Truck looks great!!!
What kinda mileage are you getting with this setup on the eco diesel?
I need this question answered lmao 😬😬😬
Average was 17-19 it would get about 22-24 on a highway trip.
Your truck makes chrome sexy again. I’m all for the blacking out, but man your truck is hot. Only negative for me is 22” wheels. I’d go 20” max but that’s just personal preference as I take my truck off road a lot. Please let us know the mpg after a month of recording some numbers cz I’m looking at the ecodiesel myself with the 3.92 gears and you know I’m gona lift it lol.
With the modification to the bracket can you still go back to stock suspension?
Not sure...
4” lift is the only way to go for a every day truck.
Agree 100%
How does measuring the height to the wheel well help you know if youre going to fit into a parking garage?
Measure your current wheel well. Add the difference to your total height
Just picked up my 2020 Eco Diesel Limited 4x4. I noticed BDS says the lift wont work on the diesel. What problems, if any, did you run into installing the kit because of the ecodiesel? Just trying to figure out why they say it wont work.
Yeah I didn’t ask and installed with no issues. They prob have to tell you that until they fit and approve.
Same here. Looking at this kit and RC. Concerned as I’ve seen people say the driveshaft on the Eco is 4.5” shorter than the Hemi.
How did this affect your mpg ?
About 4 mpg
With the OffRoad Package do you still have OR2? I have the same truck and package and dealer said there is no OR2 with the OR Package. It just comes 1" higher than standard limited's.
That is correct just off road...
@@RockyRohde So the 4" lift gave you 5" in the front and 3.5" in the back. I wonder if it will settle down a half inch or so with some miles. Cant wait for the after video on ride quality. I test drove one with the 5" rough county (same exact truck with air suspension) and it rode like stock; I couldn't tell a difference.
Not to get off subject, but do you have the automatic running boards, if so, can you the tell me the brand...and how do you like the pedal cdr....Great looking truck...
when you had the 4 in installed what did you mpg drop From stock to 4in?
About 1 mpg
@@RockyRohde what was your MPG avg. Im debating on trading in my 19 limited 5.7 to 20 Diesel
Lift and 35’s with hemi will average 12-14 my daily driving. Ecodiesel same driving 18-20 with lift wheels and tires. Now that’s my driving 75-80 mph 50% highway. I drive the trucks.. my trx has been averaging 9 😂
@@RockyRohde Thanks
Rocky - BDS in their kit notes say this lift will not work with Diesel? Any idea why they'd have that comment when you clearly, successfully have installed. Thanks! I bought a 2020 Ram Limited 3.0 diesel yesterday and about to mod.
Something about the front driveline is different. They say it will prematurely wear.
@@RockyRohde Yes, they responded that way by email and mentioned kit not approved for 2020s, so probably means they wouldn't honor warranty. Did you replace front shaft or have any issues?
You went with Fuel aftermarket wheels. Was that because the Limited 22" option wheels would not work with lift components - or just personal preference? (I could not get dealer to remove the stock 22" upgrade) THX!
I didn’t have any issues but only kept the truck a few months. I ordered off road package which came with 20” wheels. I just like the assaults. When you order bds lift it will ask if your truck has 22 or 20 from the factory. Bearing assy are different I believe
Holy shit, I want.
No scrubbing in aero mode?
No..
Hlo sir i got the same truck can i about truck
On the BDS website it says it won’t fit the diesel. What’s up with that?
Something with front driveline will wear prematurely.. I installed it no issues
@@RockyRohde thank you
Hlo sir i wanna do that same thing can i talk to u
Sweet!!!!!!!
How much did it cost $$$
At outlaw
😍😎😍👍!
Cool ad
Way to expensive just for appearance I’ll keep mine stock.
teon39 I level mine and put some 33’’ tires on stock wheels looks perfect
Darryl carter what level kit did you use?
You guys gotta stop lifting these 5ft bed trucks. Looks like garbage
Just looked at a Ram. I do not like the Black Pearlcoat. Looks like a woman’s color. Ram fucked up. I walked away
