I think a lot of people overate HIYA and will say they have the better figures because of the price not even the figure and it’s so annoying. Sure comparing prices is a big factor but when it’s a 50$ difference it doesn’t even matter that much SHMA godzilla 2024 is 3-4 x better than HIYA, the head and Body is proportional and accurate to the film unlike HIYA who make the head and waist way too small and the legs way to long and elephant like, the articulation is miles better than HIYA and so is the paint, and I love the matte finish on SHMA and the translucent spines.

Dude, I actually have only one SH Monster Arts figures, that being the 2019 Godzilla, and before you say it, yes I know about the weak joint connection, but my copy actually doesn’t have that issue, and yes that is the only one *I* have, because the Zinogre belongs to my brother!!
Are there any company’s that do display figures of Godzilla or stuff that aren’t articulated and are just static in one pose? I think it would look nicer and I don’t mind not being able to change pose as I’d just want to put it on my shelf to look at
For me I like the hiya one more because it has a lot more detail, especially between its scales and to me it looks more movie accurate, especially when compared to the evolved Godzilla in the movie in Antarctica.

The SHMA evo is a premium web exclusive and not a standard release like minus one or the GvK figures were, Premium web figures always have top teir levels of QC and every one of them for the last several years have had next to zero complaints about them Most of them tend to come out looking better then their prototypes, look at The Super mecha and rodan pack, 72 and 04 gigan.
